ROGERS INN — Hotel in Rogers

Only thing I can say is keep moving don’t stay here! It’s horrible, nasty, no upkeep on the room we had. I booked a non-smoking room (highly allergic to cigarette smoke) and received a smoking room and when we tried to switch rooms they said it was the only room available which means they gave my room away! In the smoking rooms they have a sign posted that they have removed all smoke detectors. The bathroom door couldn’t be closed, the toilet had mold growing and bathtub hadn’t been cleaned in a decade, the bathroom didn’t fit the hole that was there, the wiring for the fridge/microwave was wired at the bottom of the baseboards from room to room exposing all wires the air conditioner wasn’t plugged into the wall instead plugged into this box hanging from baseboard with just a hole cut in the sheetrock and definitely not the size for the box, the rubber baseboard falling off and the lamps plugged into the outlets which by the way had a short because you had to wiggle the cord to get the lights on! Oh yeah the sheets were dirty, blankets had huge holes all over them! So here you go definitely find another place! I’m very surprised they are still open and not shut down with all the health and fire hazzards. I am only giving this a one star just because it’s making me to be able to post this review! Only good thing about this place is the bar next door. The owner is horrible and rude. The prices will change on you literally within five minutes of getting a rate. The owner did not want to rent to white people and was hiking the price. It was one price then went to pay was ten more and before he could be paid jacked it another ten. Was very clear about not wanting our business. The rooms are infested with bed bugs and roaches. The AC unit is ran down and barely works. There is a funky smell. The rooms are not at all clean. The place is ran down the furniture is ran down. Half of the lights in the room did not work. Aside from waking up covered in bites from whatever is infesting the bed and asthma attacks due to the roach infestation and the jacking up of the room price this is no where I would recommend staying. Go drink at the bar, that is a GREAT bar. But don't stay the night here. The rooms are not worth 30 bucks a night let alone the 60 or 70 or whatever he decides to charge you. Paying for the meds to recover from my stay was more expensive then what I paid for the room. Just don't do it. Tons of better hotels to choose from where you aren't treated horribly in the area. First off, the person at the front desk couldn't find the reservation. It was after midnight. We had a reservation # from Booking.com and they STILL couldn't pull it up. She goes and gets another manager and my husband comes out to get me. We're all standing around for another 10 minutes while the manager looks us up. Finally he finds us. It's after midnight, we're tired, we just want to crash. We drive around to the room on the back side of the building. Get into our room, into pajamas, pull back the covers and OMG there's an enormous spider just making himself at home under the covers. I'm talking bigger than half-dollar sized. My husband kills the thing, we strip the bed to check for more roommates. We finally get to sleep, no covers on in fear of more spiders, and wake up at the butt-crack of dawn to someone setting off car alarms with their loud music. There were some sketchy people on the backside of the building after midnight. I would not walk out there alone. ||The people at the front desk severely lack customer service skills. We almost walked out, asked for a refund, and slept in our car. The only positive note I have is that the window AC unit was ICE COLD, which made sleeping a little...
