Any place that has #PBR on tap is already a place I will return to. We'll add it to.oir #Pabst map. We always try a 2 or 3 meat combo when visiting for the first time. Today it was a 3 meat Turkey, Brisket, and Pulled Pork. All the meats were lightly smoked. I could barely taste any hardwoods a bit of oak but no hickory.. it might have something to do with being close to KC. Definitely none of that horrible Texas BBQ with that obnoxious mesquite tate. If so I wouldn't come back. The best of the trio is the brisket... tender and cooked to perfection. If you must add a sauce to your meat it is probably not cooked right! No sauce needed!!? The Turkey is above average, and I haven't found anything better in the area, but it still does not come me close to Double D's Smoked turkey. Add a bit of the house sauce and it's good BBQ! The pulled pork...dry... you would have to add a lot of sauce to make it good. I am talking ng it home to the animals. They like dry meat. I don't! The black eyed peas a bit bland.. However a great shot of cholulaand it brings them up to par. Real butter is served and that is greatly appreciated.. Will I be back... most definitely but not for the BBQ, I would like to try the open beef sandwich which is a favorite of mine. Maybe the smoked sirloin as well.. there were a lot of interesting options.

We’ve been coming here for 10+ years and were super disappointed in our latest visit. We had to wait for a table to be cleaned (no big deal) and mentioned we’d sit outside instead and were told no servers were available for outside seating yet after we were sat in a booth, other customers were taken to sit outside. We waited at least 15 minutes for our appetizer to arrive with cold fries while the table next to us that came in after us received their entire order before we even got our appetizer. Waited at least another 20+ minutes for our meals and had said something to the waitress who claimed there was “a big order before us” yet the table of 3 next to us still had their food long before us and we ordered prior to them arriving. I literally watched the waitress look at our table after we had been sitting after eating all we wanted from our appetizer then look at her notepad then rush over to the computer and start typing away before she came over and responded to my complaint of we were still waiting on food with claims of ours was coming out next, I’m not stupid she clearly didn’t even enter the order. The pulled pork was far to wet and fatty & the second meal came with tin foil in it yet we weren’t offered a new plate. Beyond disappointed and likely won’t be back. At least the okra was fresh.

I was looking for a unique place for a lunch date with my hubby and saw this place with some great reviews. My experience was pretty great. There are a variety of unique and "regular" items on the menu. And the portions are LARGE, so bring your appetite or ask for a to-go box like we had to do! It was 3pm on a Saturday and it was not crowded. We were seated immediately with the friendliest waiter! I had the Southwest Smothered Chicken Breast with green beans as my side. My chicken was so tender and flavorful and HUGE! The green beans were very salty but edible if you like salty green beans. I would've rathered a more smoky taste being that it was a bbq spot. My hubs had the 3 meat combo BBQ plate with ribs, chicken, and brisket with a side of sweet potato fries and baked beans. The swwet potato fries were so crunchy and sweet with a slight cinnamon flavor (a must-have). Yawl, the food was so FLAVORFUL! My husband bbq choices were tender and tasted like it was right off of the pit! There are several flavors of bbq sauce on the table, and you can ask for some to go. If I had to recommend a place in NWA that had good food and good bbq, Joe's is it! The picture attached shows the food AFTER we started eating because I forgot to get a before shot. 🙃

"It's OK" pretty much sums it up. It's not even close to the best BBQ I've had. Food truck BBQ is better. It's fairly pricy, but, you know, it has sit down service. Not particularly good service; I felt like we were bothering our waitress by ordering. We had to ask for silverware and my wife still had to go search for it. Atmosphere was "BBQ joint - one each". I think it must have been an old chicken place. Go if you want, it's "OK"

TO THE OWNER: Thank you for responding to my review. I have immense respect for the dedication that represents. So much so that I am forced to reassess my earlier measure. For the food, my wife's Red and White sandwich did surprise her with it's spiciness, perhaps she didn't remember that buffalo sauce is one of the hottest substances that humans routinely consume. I certainly made a happy plate of my 2 meat dinner, with brisket and pork. I am from Muskogee, OK, we are blessed with some good BBQ joints and even more talented amateurs. I WILL give your restaurant another "swing at it", no gift card involved, just to avoid any appearance of impropriety. Lol. My wife's family lives in the area and you are a favorite. I will have no trouble convincing them to go to dinner. I will come some time other than Saturday noon (you were correct, it was Saturday that we visited) before super bowl Sunday. Any good eatery can be forgiven for being in the weeds when we came. I know how hard you must have worked, and how good your food must be, for you to enjoy such acclaim as you plainly do now. Now I have some idea why that is. With...

The service was HORRIBLE! The only reason I gave it 2 stars is because the food is good. I will not be going back here as there are too many great BBQ places in the area to be treated so bad. I was not greeted at all after walking to the counter to order take out. I asked if there is a special menu for large family portions and she slapped the menu on the counter without saying a word. I asked how many would 1lb of pulled chicken or pork would feed and she pointed at the top of the column and said it is listed there but can probably feed more then that. I started to order and she cut me off and said "need you to start with a name". I spent $92.56 and they continued to be rude. I specifically asked if rolls or bread would come with all that I ordered and she said yes. After getting halfway home, which is the other side of Rogers, I realized there was no bread. I pulled over and called and they said they forgot to give it to me so I drove all the way back to only be told never mind they made a mistake that because I didn't order individual meals I would have to pay extra for rolls. I said then just forget it and turned to walk out only to hear in a very loud, sarcastic and rude voice "HAVE A NICE NIGHT"! The complete rudeness and just overall attitude that I was completely putting them out for being in there and ordering was actually very surprising. Again, I will never go back as I would never want to put them out so much. I will be taking my business where it is...
