Where has this place been? An old gas station converted into a food truck courtyard with an indoor bar that serves beer, wine and soft drinks? Yes please! Showed up around 4:45pm on a Thursday for an early dinner. We headed inside for a few beers before ordering. We had two different Ozark beers that were on tap but they also have a great bottle / can list which I've posted. The atmosphere was fun, and warm with about 10 people having lively conversations and the number probably tripled by the time we left around 6pm. The owner's sweet Vizsla / Weimaraner Mix was wandering the courtyard and it appeared that there were several couples there with children as there were about 8 kids playing nicely and having a great time around the establishment. This indicated to me that it is a very welcoming, dog friendly and family family place. There was plenty of outdoor seating which was comfortable and great but there was also a decent amount of seating indoors. The food trucks were also fantastic. We counted 5, tried food from all of them and weren't disappointed with a single one. The standout and surprise was The Boondocks Grill. Don't let the vinyl wrap of woods and deer or the plainly printed menu fool you. You would never guess it from the appearance but this truck has some amazing Cuban, Puerto Rican and American food dishes and at a great price. Try...
Read moreA lady screamed across the bar that I needed to get out of the place because I brought my own gluten free food when I went to eat with a group of coworkers during our lunch break. So unprofessional and insensitive. First and last time I'll go that place again.
Update:
On 5/30/2019 at 1PM, I received this reply from this place:
“Hi Jose! After reviewing our surveillance video, you were treated very kindly and appropriately. I am happy to share that video with you if you like. Thank you for understanding our restaurant policy and as always, all of our food trucks offer gluten free options.”
This is inaccurate. I wonder if that video has audio. I showed this to one of the two coworkers that were with me and they were amazed of the audacity of the reply. I called to the place to clarify the situation of this reply, and Ashlee, the owner as she identify herself over the phone, was the one who screamed at me across the bar, answered the phone. She contradicted what I experienced at that moment to the point to invalidate my feelings. She’s was not able to recognized that she made me feel embarrassed while she screamed at me in front of a bunch...
Read moreAs a group of 5 of us walked into the gate, a lady from the bar yelled at one of my friends who was carrying a plastic bottle of Mt. Dew. She yelled and said you cannot bring that in before the gate even closed. I do not have problem with dumping the Mt Dew but I have a problem with some lady yelling across the way at someone instead of walking over nicely and asking us to not bring it in. The bar had not a person at it when she yelled at us. We came in and exited the side gate. Maybe work on your customer service. You lost out on 5 adults eating and buying drinks. We will never return due to the rude lady...
