Mr. Takashimura has quickly become a favorite dining spot for me, thanks to its fantastic hibachi grill style food served from their food truck. From the moment you approach, you're greeted with a warm smile from the friendly staff, who never fail to maintain their cheerful demeanor even during the busiest times. The menu offers a delightful variety of options, but I find myself returning time and again for their hibachi steak and noodles, which always comes out perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. This place is a hidden gem in old Rogers. I ordered the gyoza, California roll, and fried rice, and boy howdy did they deliver. Customer service was cheerful and top-notch, too! Wait time was relatively short considering they whipped up restaurant-quality food in 10 minutes. The gyoza was several pieces of perfectly fried, pork-stuffed heaven that was still steaming when I got it back to the office. My California roll was perfectly made and tasted so much fresher than what you buy at the store or some other places that pre-make their sushi rolls. Lastly, the fried rice. It didn't have anything extra in it like peas, carrots, etc, and I LOVE that they left it out. The rice had a wonderful texture and flavor, and I ate every bit of it. Honorable mention: sauces. Each part of the meal came with some kind of sauce like soy, duck, and some other sauce for the rice. All were tasty and accentuated the great parts of the meal. 10/10, would lunch...

I originally rated this place very highly a couple years ago. The food was delicious and the service was pretty good. Today I did not have that experience.

I called in an order and was told the wait would be 20-25 minutes. It ended up being closer to 50 minutes.

The chicken I ordered had no sauce on it. Idk if they just forgot to put any on it or if that's just how they serve it now but when I order hibachi the chicken is always sauced.

The steak also had no sauce and was way over cooked.

The veggies that came with the meal had no seasoning.

The fried rice was alright but it's very basic and has no veggies or egg at all.
