I figured we could try the baconator burger and the baconator fries since it's been a well over a year since I was last at a Wendy's and I remember why I never come here.
The bacon was half cooked or undercooked so it was rubbery and unpleasant, if you are going to put bacon in the name and show it with nice crisp bacon you should strive to meet that expectation. Honestly that's about the only bad thing this time around besides thinking it was a little pricey for what was ordered. The spicy chicken I got was kinda lame and not as spicy as a remember (but It was actually cooked really well!). Like I said before, the only thing that was poorly presented and cooked and did not meet expectations or what was advertised.
The tables always look out of place and kinda dirty even though I know they are cleaned at the Wendy's I have been to.
I recommend that you either make a point to ask for crisp or more well done bacon if you don't like nearly uncooked bacon... One piece I had was like un-rendered fat which was very upsetting to bite into. All that said, I would suggest getting the chicken sandwiches, it was cooked very nicely, tender and not dried out. The fries were also pretty good, tastes like a real potato with a good crisp and not too much salt.
About the rating, it was less than a neutral experience as I was off put by the undercooked bacon, it missed the mark on expectations and because of how strong the other food was I have to give it a better than worst rating. Avoiding the pitfalls of bacon and false advertising and this could easily be a 3 or even 4 if the atmosphere...
Read moreIt was the worst place I have ever been to!!! I saw the big banner sign that advertised the crispy chicken sandwich with guacamole , lettuce and tomatoes, so I ordered that and the guy that took my order said that it was discontinued. I said, well why don't you take the banner down if you don't sell it anymore? And he was rude and looked at me like I was the stupid one!! We waited 15 minutes and there was no one else in line, until a lady came in from drive thru to tell them they forgot her order of a 4 piece chicken nugget and she waited almost 8 minutes. We got out to our car and they forgot my granddaughters 2 orders of fries!! I went back in to complain and two of the guys were clowning around sticking their fingers in each other's ears and were not even paying any attention to the fact that I had to say" Excuse me", 3 times , louder each time!! The 3-4 other people that were working and doing their job, but the cashier and 1 other guy were the 2 that were clowning around, slapping each other along side the head and sticking each other's fingers in each other's ears!! The cashier was absolutely the worst employee of any place I have ever been to in my life!!! There were only maybe 4 people in the place and they already had been in there when we came in, so otherwise there were no other customers in this Wendy's!! I feel that this cashier should be fired!! I am not sure I would ever go back to a...
Read moreAfter being told to wait several times prior to ordering in the drive-through I placed an order and drove around to the window and paid. After paying I continued to wait patiently and then was handed a cold coffee. The manager, whose name tag said Ed, asked if I could pull forward. I looked behind me and no one was waiting so I asked why I would move forward if nobody was waiting behind me and I have been waiting patiently. Ef simply replied we just need you to pull forward. I told Ed that I would remain at the window, but if somebody pulled up behind me, I would happily move forward. Ed then went on to express his displeasure and told me that I was making his job harder. I do not understand how I made their job harder since I was not being impatient and I wasn’t holding anyone up behind me. After they informed me of I was purposely making their job harder the drive-through window did not completely close. I could hear ED talking to all the other workers telling them how he would never make The person preparing his meals job harder. Eventually, after waiting six minutes at the window at Ed handed me the food and said thanks for making our job harder.. I have no idea how waiting patiently at the widow made their job harder since nobody had come to the drive-through the whole time I was there. I know this is fast food, but you would think that there would be just a little bit more professionalism...
