Los Tres Magueyes — Restaurant in Rolesville

There was HAIR in my food. I never complain and never spend time on social media writing a bad review. But I needed to. I ordered the Carne Asada which was great until I discovered that there was two pieces of lightly colored hair intertwined underneath my food between the Carne Asada and the rice. I brought this issue up to the manager who at first seemed to not know what to do and then asked if I wanted a reorder (which I declined because I was sick over it). Then I got the bill and he only took half the price of the meal off the bill. Honestly, this was baffling to me so I went up and said that I felt like I shouldn’t have to pay for this meal as it was disgusting for me. I never ask for this sort of thing. Usually, I just keep my head down when there’s a problem and deal with it but it was so stomach turning, that I had to. He told me that there was only men in the kitchen which implied that I must have been dishonest or it was my wife’s hair. My wife has dark hair and she was nowhere near my food and honestly it was so deeply entangled in my food that it would have been impossible. This was a shocking response to me. I understand mistakes but the lack of disregard was so upsetting. I have been here quite a few times before and brought a large group of 15 people a couple weeks ago and it was great. I want this business to do well. But I am so disappointed and I’m disgusted. The manager begrudgingly took the rest of the cost off my bill for the meal and after this whole ordeal finally said “sorry”. Its hard to believe someone’s sorry if they blame the customer like this. We just moved to Rolesville not long ago, and Los Tres Magueyes has already become our go-to spot for dinner. I’ve been here about four times now, and it’s been great every single time. The staff is always so friendly and quick — you get greeted as soon as you walk in and seated right away. The tables and menus are always clean, which I really appreciate. Chips and fresh salsa come out immediately, which is perfect while you look over the menu.

The food always comes out fast, hot, and fresh. The portions are huge, so I always end up taking leftovers home (and they’re just as good the next day!). I’ve had the beef and chicken taquitos — packed with meat and super crispy — and the chicken and shrimp with rice and cheese, which is amazing. The rice is always cooked just right, and the little side salad is refreshing. Their guac is made with fresh avocado, and the queso is great for dipping chips or adding on top of your meal.

The Blue margarita is a favorite — big, delicious, and just the right amount of kick. The prices are really reasonable, especially considering how much food you get. The place itself is bright and colorful, with fun decor and music that adds to the atmosphere without being too loud.

I’ve brought both of my parents here and they loved it too. Between the great food, clean restaurant, fast service, and awesome staff, this place has definitely earned a permanent spot on our dinner rotation. If you’re in Rolesville, definitely check out Los...

There’s actually not one good thing that I can say about the restaurant from beginning to end but my opinion only got worse wants that actually open the food. So I understand being takeout only due to the self preservation and distancing that we all have to do today but today was the first time that me and my son had ordered once we had got to the store to pick up every item was overcharged over the menu price by at least a dollar then when ordering asked to have beans in place instead of the salad and two orders of chips and salsa which came with the dinners to find that there was only one order one salsa No cheese sauce added to the polo loco after requesting cheese sauce when ordering and then told it was gonna be another eight dollars and change the salad was that was in the plate was completely brown and wilted the guacamole was browned was open in the dinner plates the side of rice and beans that was charge five dollars was cold and for two people to order two dinners that are $9.25 cost $45 so way to go we will never order from there again and you guys will be reported for price gouging And over pricing your menu items compared to watch on the website. The quality of food really is just not that good at all.
