I almost didn’t come because of the many bad reviews. But I am glad I did, because the barbecue was excellent. Coming from the undisputed champion of barbecue, Texas, I like to try places all over the country. This was among the best I’ve had outside the Lone Star State. I came late, so I was disappointed they were out of brisket and turkey. But I had the pulled pork, smoked sausage, and ribs. I tried all four of the sauces, the potato salad and the “fried” corn on the cob. I think it was just roasted, not fried, but it was excellent. I absolutely loved the toasted bread and getting two pieces is a bonus. I read a lot of reviews about bad service and long wait times. I can say the staff was really quite good. They were steadily busy with a lot of takeout orders and probably 10 tables just starting to eat when I got there. I also decided to put a stopwatch on the entire experience. At 1:58 after seating, a server took my drink order. At 4:17 after seating, I received my tea and ordered my food. At 28:27 (after seating, 24 after ordering) the food came. While not ridiculous, I am bewildered what took so long. BBQ and sides are ready to eat and only require plating and delivery. They need to work on this part of their experience. Pricing was really excellent, slightly below what I pay in Dallas but that’s to be expected in a small city. The quantity of food was outstanding and I couldn’t finish it. I took a rib home. In Texas I give this a solid four stars. Here, I’ll give it five stars at least in part to make up for some bad reviews that I think maybe are undeserved. I come through Rolla about once every five or six weeks and I will definitely eat here again in the future. Oh, they have 8 Tesla charging stations. So stop and eat and “gas up”.

Overall, it's an okay place to eat. Went to Bandana's instead of going to Dickey's where my daughter has never been, Dickey's was super busy so we came to bandanas instead. I ordered the chicken sandwich and my daughter ordered the brisket melt. My daughter said the brisket melt was rubbery in some spots but overall was good, my chicken sandwich was really dry but I did order all white meat and we all know how easy it is to dry out white meat. Our server, after I finished my food I told her that the chicken sandwich was really dry and she said if I would have told her at the beginning she would have replaced it because it shouldn't have been dry, she was just outstanding, was the only server there and didn't miss a beat with all of the other customers, her name is Alicia. Her customer service is amazing!! I've been to worse places but also have been to better, with that being said I'd give this establishment another try. Oh and they're Chicago sweet barbecue sauce is absolutely delicious!!

Bandanas was one of the stops on our bus tour. We called ahead and were told they would be able to accommodate the 38 people on our bus. When we arrived, the tables were set up, and we were seated right away. We had a special menu consisting of garlic bread, a choice of chicken, pork, or sausage with a baked potato and green beans and for dessert, a choice of brownie or ice cream with chocolate drizzle. There were 5 sauces on the table for the meat. I chose the spicy which was perfect for me. The others were original, sweet and spicy, Chicago and KC Service was friendly and overall very good except for having to wait on refills. With the numbers in our group, though, it was understandable. We were in and out in less than an hour. Restrooms were pretty clean. I would stop by again if I were in the area.

This place has got have the worst service I've ever experienced in Rolla, CONSTANTLY. The first time I thought I would give them a chance after their kitchen fire I ended up waiting 2 hours when told to be there in 30 minutes. I sat in the parking lot for an hour and a half on a night that was completely empty. There was doordashers and one other carry out that said they had been there for an hour when I showed up, they waited at least an hour after me showing up. Again completely dead inside. I didn't get any discount, I didn't even complain considering the lady in front of me cussed out the lady at the bar and I felt bad and was hungry. I just wanted my food and to get out. Well I just decided to order from them again tonight. They are very busy so I expected a long wait time, they told me 45 minutes. Well thirty minutes into waiting for my food I get a call from them saying they don't have burnt ends so I say Ill do brisket then. They say theyre out of brisket completely. So they waited thirty minutes to tell me my entire order wasn't able to be made. On top of this, they ran out of brisket at 6PM ON A FRIDAY!! HOW CAN YOU EXPECT TO HAVE ENOUGH FOOD AT ALL WHEN YOU RUN OUT THREE HOURS BEFORE YOU CLOSE. I'm not even mad about that, I'm mad that AGIAN I've waited for my food and this time didn't even get it. I get it, you run out of stuff and I get it you have things happen. But multiple times of waiting over thirty minutes PAST expected pick up time is ridiculous. COMMUNICATE, YOU HAVE MY NUMBER WHEN I PLACE THE ORDERS! I'm honestly done with this location. I've had too many orders messed up on top of this waiting for hours. Don't go here if you do carry out at all, terrible customer service and horrible wait times. Haven't tried dine-in but its the age of the...

I have been eating a Bandana's for years in locations around St. Louis and it is one of my favorite places. However, today (Saturday 4/20/2019 arriving @ 12:10pm) at the Rolla Bandana's was my worst experience ever. It was not very crowded when I arrived. One of the things I like about Bandana's is that you usually have your food in under 5 minutes. After about 20 minutes of waiting for the order I started looking around. People arriving after me were eating. I didn't see our waitress anywhere so I talked with the hostess, who got the waitress who then came over to the table to tell me she would check on my order. Another 5 minutes go by and the table behind me now has its second set of occupants and they are eating. She finally comes out and tells me that they had to re-do my order. What the heck does that mean? I think it means they ignored my order - or lost it. The manager never came over to explain. Finally got the order well over 30 minutes after I placed the order. I wrote a note on the ticket to the manager and gave my email address. Nothing. Guess the manager is a coward in addition to being incompetent. This was my 10th time at the Rolla location. The other times were fine. I suggest the regional manager or owner take a good look at the shift manager on duty...
