This was pretty close to a perfect meal. To be honest the service is what gave them the perfect score. The woman taking my order was very sweet and patient when telling me about the food. Great customer service for sure. I got the goat stew and fufu with a side of goat Joloff. Now the goat stew is what would have prevented the 5 stars. The goat was tender and braised well but unfortunately the soup just wasn’t great. It didn’t have a ton of flavor and I was a little disappointed. I’ve gotten food from here twice and let me just say this, the food is AMAZING. I first did a takeout for the dokunu (kenkey) and tilapia. It was perfect, just the right amount of spice. The service was amazing, very kind friendly lady that attended to me. The thing is I wish I got more shito. The price is very affordable. The second food I ordered was waakye. I wanted to try African food. Abis did not disappoint! So good. We had egusi with pounded yam and spiced goat. Was very spicy. Also messy. So be prepared with lots of napkins. Fufu was on point. The guy at the counter that took my order was very nice and polite. He offered me plasticware and when I said yes, he said you’re not going to eat with your hands.!?! We laughed.
