Walgreens — Local services in Romeoville

It used to be nice, the store seems to be understaffed. Pharmacy can’t remember when someone dropped something off to when they pick it up, long wait times beyond 24 hrs sometimes. Photo center is drowning and giving poorly put together photo products. Most of the staff seems under 21 and the social customer service isn’t great because the communication is no eye contact and mumbling. They had to cancel and refund someone of my orders. Both online and this location. Idk what the difference is between this location and Weber road but it’s night and day when it comes to reliability and quality of products both in store and pharmacy. If I could give 2.5 stars I would, it's unfair to hold the entirety of Walgreens accountable for the ineptitude of one department.

How does Walgreens claim to be a wellness center when 2/3 of the food and grocery consists of chips/ candy/ and soda... ?

I went in today and you didn't even have Eggs, a basic grocery item.

You would think of all places that would have the money to stock gluten free items for someone with celiac it would be walgreens.

Maybe my expectations for walgreens were set too high.

The Family owned mexican grocery store down the street has healthier options for food than a multibillion dollar franchise.

But why would you care about stocking necessities and sustenance when your top grossing income comes...

I’ve mostly had good experiences at this Walgreens. I need to give a shoutout to one employee who I’m always happy to see when I go to the drive-thru. Her name is Kyra and she always greets with an infectious smile that makes my day and reminds me to be happy and kind. If Kyra could be cloned for any and every job that requires customer contact, the world would be a better place.
