Let's start with the people. These are 2 of the sweetest ladies ever! They work VERY hard to please. They are extremely friendly and personable. The ice cream is awesome. I've never been to a place that sells Ferrero Roche ice cream! The coolest part is 95% of the deserts are homemade! One can definitely see the effort put into their creations. I enjoy finding things I've never had before; believe me, there's 6 months worth of desserts, if one were to try something new every day. They also have Mexican corn there which, is one of our absolute favorites! Their prices are VERY reasonable. To be perfectly honest, I'd pay double for their homemade desserts and their friendly smiles. I always see them cleaning which explains why the place is always spotless. If you haven't tried this place, you're missing out!...

On Monday, 9/1/2019, I called La Michoacana at 6:50pm. In Spanish a woman answered the phone. I asked her what time they close today. In English she replied we close at 8:00. I said thank you..bye. My husband and i walked into the store at 7:05pm. There was a couple enjoying their ice cream seated near the door. All the lights were off. The clerk behind the counter said in English we are closed. I said I just talked to someone who said the store closes at 8. The clerk said I didnt talk to you. You must have talked to the manager. I said are you telling me the manager doesnt know when the store closes? The clerk didn't answer. I said we wont be back...

Don’t get me wrong I love la michoacana but this location is the worst and I have the worst experience, so I was coming from work. I was heading home until I wanted to get something from La Michoacana. I ordered a natural yogurt, and then the employee the young girl are so rude and every time. When I can’t hear them, they get annoyed every time. When I asked them to repeat it. Is this how you treat your customers? Those girls are the worst and lazy employees ever. I will never come back at the Romeoville location, the Joliet and Bolingbrook location is way better much friendly and make my yogurt...
