What more is there to say other than this is a fantastic restaurant ran by an amazing man and staffed by some of the most welcoming servers I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. My father and I try to make it here every month and before my schedule shift my Husband and I would come every Sunday. I’ve been coming to Niko’s just about 5 and a half years now; I moved here 7 years back for context. I found out about it from word of mouth and then my JROTC class had a chance to help fundraise with veterans in front of the store. I never thought it would be so life changing. Whenever there’s a birthday you can’t help but join in the signing, you can’t help the feeling that you know everyone. I love how family oriented this restaurant is, and on top of it how amazing their food is. My go to when I want something sweet is the Chocolate-Strawberry cakes. Something savory, the Country Fried Steak & Eggs. Something mixed, Their version of a Monte Cristo. Whenever I want soup they always have what Im looking for and some of the best rolls I had, tasting like their straight out of my late grandmothers oven. I’ve taken huge parties of children (4+ all different ages) here when I babysit and they are so accommodating. Always knowing the right way to throw a twist on what the kids order. All the staff are beautiful and kind and when I come in they always greet me like I’m family. We’ll have conversations just about everything and no matter what I will always come back to Nikos. Thank you for the...
Read moreMy boyfriend and I have been going to this place every other Sunday and we always leave more than satisfied until today. First we wait for like 5 minutes for someone to bring us coffee and ask for cream and we didn’t receive it. Then our server takes our order and informs us that we cannot substitute the crepes or waffles instead of pancakes which we’ve always done. We asked again for the cream and that didn’t come until our food arrived and we had to ask again for it. I asked for a pecan waffle and she brought me a waffle with bacon which I did not ask for. I let her know and comes back 5 minutes later with a waffle just sprinkled with pecans on top. Did not come with the powdered sugar, caramel, bananas or whipped cream. She asked me if I wanted the powdered sugar and whipped cream and I said yes. Then I realized after ordering it many times that it did not come with bananas. I inquired about it and she said that it did not come with bananas and I told her it did and she continued to argue and said it didn’t. I didn’t want to continue to argue with her so I just told her to bring me the check and box so we could get the hell out. And it did in fact come with bananas after looking up their menu online. Worst...
Read moreJust left the place and Lady with nice thick eyebrows was at the front desk, and INCREDIBLY rude about tips that aren’t “good enough” for her. She wasn’t even our waitress, our waitress was incredibly sweet and amazing. But the rude lady was belittling us because we tipped too little. We just wanted to round up our total, we usually tip decently. Was tired and full, ended up leaving in disbelief and wide awake. I mean, what kind of customer service is that? The entitlement?? She literally laughed at us and said “that’s it?” And “that’s so rude guys. You didn’t even leave cash on the table???” After inspecting our tip like ???what??? Food as usual is amazing though. Tip culture in America is so demanding and up in your face. Not to mention that they already charge you extra for service fee here, so what’s the point in expecting tips. Not very welcoming anymore because of this vibe she brings. The other people that were with me were also wildly uncomfortable at her comments. Think she had glasses too, black hair, Latina. Worked today at 8...
