I hosted my son’s birthday party at this location and WOW did it MISS the mark!
I paid over $4,000 for a VIP party of 32 kids and food and beverages for 34 adults. Not only that but I tipped the two support staff to my party $100 each after a multitude of issues outside of their control.
I’ve reached out to the party organizer in regards to my many concerns, the biggest being a racist bartender waving off my guests to go to the other server (white, male), because she (African-American, female) only wanted to serve African-American patrons. Any interaction or exchange of words with my guests was that of somebody who felt some entitlement. Mind you, my party was a VERY diverse party!… here is my email explaining everything to “Brian Spiller”… and after many attempts to speak on the phone, he has since stopped responding to my emails and there has been ZERO resolution. SHAME on this “family friendly” indoor entertainment park. Also, there require an ID to enter (never mentioned when planning) and you have to be checked at the door… 🤔 should really raise some concern for the atmosphere you’re entering.
“Good afternoon,
I’m reaching out as a follow-up to my event yesterday.
First, I’d like to express how much we all REALLY liked Miley and Hector. They were very attentive and hard workers. We appreciate how much they helped the party go as smoothly as possible given many circumstances outside of their control.
Unfortunately, I do have several complaints. The biggest and most important complaint is with the African American Female bartender last night. Some say they were under the impression she was the bar manager. All of my guests, including my husband, thoroughly expressed their disbelief in the treatment they received from her. When my guests (very diverse group) approached the bar, she would wavy them off and tell them to “go to him”, pointing to the male white bartender. All the while she was catering and chatting away with other African American patrons. She was overly rude to one of my guests in the presence of my husband, at which time he told her she needed to “be polite to our guests as we have a party in (pointing to the banquet room & room 1) that big room over there”. She then responded with, “that isn’t the big room, and points to the Romeo room, and says, “that is!” She then processes to dismiss my husband and our other guests the entire night.
I’m absolutely disgusted with her racist behavior towards my guests and husband. This family-friendly establishment should have a zero tolerance policy for this sort of conduct. I felt embarrassed that my guests were violated by this individuals behavior.
On top of that, the room temperature was very warm that the cake frosting was falling off. There were a TON of gnats in the room, there was absolutely no tape in the entire facility to use, tablecloths were filthy and I had to ask for them to be cleaned or changed, socks were not available until about 45 minutes into the party, prepaid drink tickets weren’t available until about 45 minutes into the party, no food or appetizers were available until about 1 1/2 hours into the party, I ordered Cesar salads and pasta salad. I never received the pasta salad and was served garden salad with no dressing (until asked for). I was also never once informed my guests needed an ID for entrance into the establishment, some were turned away and needed to get theirs.
For the amount the party costed, I had very high expectations. Sadly, the numerous complaints from my guests and my own complaints, Scene75 was a let down. I think it is more than reasonable to request the service charge be refunded as the services received were racially fueled and the establishment itself couldn’t provide a proper setting.
I look forward to...
Read moreUpdate: 4/13/25 - We went to inquire about a refund due to the fight that occurred. Jason, part of management team, helped us out greatly and gave us the refund. Thank you very much!!! Will definitely come back again!! Original story: We bought the package deal for $120 with upgrade to all day unlimited for $40 more (includes roller coasters, lazer maze, 3d ride, go carts, two small miniature golf courses and huge jump zone with mini zip line for kids), plus we payed for $15 more upgrade for 1 topping large pizza with 4 drinks. It was for around $180. Very well worth it!!! Pizza was amazing and got a margarita that was tasty and strong! BUT if you go on the weekends, PLEASE keep in mind you will be waiting for over 30 -45 min for the rides, especially go carts. Also, because people in front of you in the line HOLD spots for other family members- be prepared for a lot of people technically cutting you in line. To the point there were two huge physical fights because the parents were holding the line for all their family members which included extended family (not just their own kids). So it’ll feel like you will never go on the ride lol BUT please please please don’t let it get you upset to the point you are yelling, becoming negative and physically fighting. Not worth it!!! Just stop. This is a kids place AND you ruin it for everyone else because the second fight ended with the whole place shutting down and police telling you that you need to leave asap. Now I have to take time to call corporate for full refund because everybody had to leave early before it was closing time. Besides that, miniature golf was a little annoying because little kids (even with their parents….) were just zipping through, even while you were playing…. Which seemed very rude. I was actually getting pissed because parents were actually encouraging it…it was bizarre. We had to just stand their looking at them playing golf in the same area and even pushing out golf balls to the side like it was nothing. BUT again, not worth saying anything negative because I was with my kids and only was their to have fun. BUT it was very annoying. They closed the place early because of the fighting so we didn’t get a chance to do the 3D ride or most of the games BUT the few we did play, were great. I think it’s a great place to have fun with your kids and a lot of different things to do even if it’s raining. We also paid extra for batting cages which was a lot of fun. We didn’t pay for lazer tag though. They do need more staff as well because it seemed like nothing was supervised to the point where kids were just running around crazy through miniature golf courses and lazer maze - golf balls and golf clubs were lying around everywhere that you will sprain your ankle if your not looking where you are stepping. Lazer maze is stupid because kids were just running around in it and not following the rules so it was worthless. Overall, I still give it a 5 out of 5 because it had several different things to do for kids and great food and drinks. We had a blast even though we had to leave early...
Read moreHonestly - Super disappointed. I'm a general manager of a similar theme park in Texas, so when I travel to other states for fun I really enjoy checking out other parks and seeing what cool things they offer and how they operate to see how we might make ourselves better at home. This place definitely has some areas of opportunity to improve but I think will increase repeat customers.
First thing is I when I first walked in had no idea what I was walking into, I'm pretty sure it was even the manager who checked me out and she explained them of what was going on. None of the attractions that were available or how are unlimited wristband would work. We bought the huge ticket packages so that we could play arcade games and within the first 15 minutes of trying to play games I had four machines separately. All lit up and looking like they worked, not actually worked but just eat my money. This resulted in. We having to go back to the counter multiple times to get them to refund the games that were down. There was no sticky note saying these games were down, no out of order sign, there was no apology, I directly reported the games that were having issues and it was not reported to the manager nor was it handled. And then surprise surprise there were many more arcade in the building that we're also non-operational, but we're happy to take your money. Meaning that you had to go back up to the counter every single time you wanted to get your money back. Furthermore, the kitchen was not even open until after 5:30 p.m.. We arrived and purchased an all-day pass at 4:00 and we're till the kitchen would be open at 4:30. It did not open till an hour after that and the bar remained closed through our entire stay past 7:30. The food was not good, it took a lot of people. It looked like to make two smash burgers and some nachos which then still took over 40 minutes to receive even though we were the only people purchasing. There were employees walking around in blankets, on their phones, chatting with friends, talking about things that I don't think children should hear about, or overall complaining about how corporate doesn't actually want to support anyone.
The only employee that really stood out and shined in a positive light would be Robert. Kudos to for him for having good customer service and being willing to sit, talk and explain the place so that we might enjoy what money we had already spent. Over $200 for a couple and definitely not worth the experience unfortunately. There is nothing posted on their website either about randomly closing the bar or not having food open until over halfway through the day.
Y'all can do better guys! You've got a really great space with a lot of great potential and I hope to see...
