Cottage Inn Pizza Romulus — Restaurant in Romulus

I order from this location twice a week and have for months. Tonight I ordered the same thing I usually get for myself, the chicken Alfredo pizza add spinach with Cajun crust. I picked it up and got home to find a pizza with red sauce (not Alfredo) with chicken, onions, tomato & spinach (similar but not an Alfredo pizza) I would never get a pizza with onions on it. I called them to ask what they had me down for worried maybe I got someone else’s pizza and the older woman who answered the phone put me on hold then proceeded to tell me the girl who took the order said that’s what she was told, a pizza with chicken, onions, tomato and spinach....first I never order a pizza from cottage inn that’s not gourmet, so I would definitely not list out the toppings. Second, as I stated I would never order a pizza with onions, I asked her again if the girl who answered the phone really said that I wanted all these toppings and she said yes she said that’s what she heard. So this woman or the “girl” she said took the call just flat out lied to me because as mentioned I wouldn’t have said any of that on the phone. She could have simply offered to make me the right pizza and I would go back to pickup, rather she told me I was a liar and that’s what I order; again, it wasn’t and I wouldn’t. I will go the extra mile in the opposite direction to get pizza from a different cottage inn from now on. Terrible customer service, I will never order from this...

We like Cottage Inn Pizza, but this place was horrible. I called and the person that answered the phone was very rude and unprofessional. He had a heavy accent, so it was hard for me to understand him. I gave him my address 5 times over the phone, and even had him repeat it to me to make sure he got the numbers correct. He hung up on me the first time I called, after he took my order and my address. I had to call back and ask him what my price was and how long it would take for my food to be delivered. He quoted me 30MINS. I live 10 mins away. He then called me 40 mins after I called, and told me that I gave him the wrong address. I told him my address 4 more times, and spelled out the street name. He told me that his GPS sent him to the airport, and that I must not know my address. I then had to give him directions on how to get to my house. When he finally got here 54 mins later, I called the place before I paid and requested a discount because he was 20 mins late. The woman told me that she could not do that but that the next time I ordered from them, they would give me 50% off. This was after she argued with me about the time I was quoted. I ended up paying $15.75, the pizza was cold and looked old, and it tasted horrible. My 1 yr old, who loves crust, threw the crust away after tasting it. This place has horrible service, and horrible food. DO NOT DO...

Best customer service and experience from the wonderful staff and manager Maria!!! Staying weekly at the knights inn due to losing our home in a fire, the hotel charged our debit card twice at the $312 weekly rate. So our account was in the negative until it can be credited back in 10 days....that money That we were over charged was our living money for the week. I asked the hotel manager if they could get us food and charge it to our room or anything to help us since it was their mistake and we were left with no money and nothing to eat......management told me there was nothing they could do and they aren't paying for our food. We have been 2 days without eating now. I called cottage Inn out of desperation because we were extremely hungry. I was completely embarrassed asking if they could possibly help with something for us to eat and explained our situation. Maria was caring and passionate to our situation and without any hesitation at all asked what we would like to eat....I was in tears that she was so nice and considerate and helped us out in our time of need!! I'm so grateful and wanted to share my experience with everyone!! Cottage Inn deserves recognition on their great customer service and amazing food!! I'm a true believer now that good people still do exist!! Thank you again...
