quick business trip in for training. Just 2 night. 5 of us in party. Arrived late due to blizzard in the northeast, where we were coming from. Blair at check in was extremely professional, courteous and kind. thumbs up. several hours later, around 1 AM, I had to visit the front desk, since we could not turn the heat down in our room and it was stifling (85 degrees)...Chris was at the front desk, and found us another room right away and even removed a wi fi charge that my roommate had generated by accident. thumbs up. Victoria was the cocktail waitress in the bar area that first night, which was overflowing with patrons due to the fact that a couple hundred of us had just arrived that day/night for a quick mini conference. She was wonderful, polite, professional and efficient....and pretty much all on her own. I was impressed. Another thumbs up.
My team and I were among the last to arrive from, and we are usually among the last to leave, as we like to stay one more night when it ends late Saturday afternoon.
That final night was enough to ruin what had been a fun mini conference.
My honest and polite inquiry with regard to sitting in the bar area to be able to order drinks and fries to go with our pizza we had ordered (really only to get some gluten free food into a colleague with celiac disease who had only dined on french fries the night before) was not met with the an honest and polite response. Hello- if I am asking, I can handle hearing "I'm sorry, no- you can't sit here with pizza) We were lead by our waiter, Mason, to believe it would be fine, and he took my order for a draft beer. However, he instead went straight to a manager who immediately power walked to our table to ask us to relocate. (exactly what we were trying to avoid by asking ahead of time)
When we returned after eating uncomfortably on a lobby couch to order our drinks and fries, we were made to wait for extended periods of time when it wasn't the least bit busy. We were made to feel unwelcome, as the waiter and bartender continued to look at us directly while chatting and making faces.....AND they were conveniently out of many items ordered. No Captain Jack, sorry....No malibu rum...no, we don't have all the ingredients to make the chocolate martini you had here last year.
It seemed, oddly so, that they may have been messing with our drinks...adding water, light on the ice when I like my drink over ice....and quite weak (by the way, I believe THAT is illegal!) , when I'd enjoyed the same drink without issue the night before when the same bar was extremely busy. (and yes...there were pizza boxes at neighboring tables the night before, but whatever)
I am a Regional VP who travels frequently with (and without) members of my sales team all over the US, and other countries.
There was no reason for the behavior we encountered on Sunday night with our so called "server" and the bartender that was on duty. He may have faked the occasional smile while at our table, but we were watching his activity when he turned away.
I also have many, many years of experience in the hospitality/service industry, and I would never tolerate this kind of silly and juvenile behavior at my establishment. We may only be 5 people, but now we are 5 people with a bad taste in our mouths for...

The hotel provides guests with an assortment of amenities, including a fitness center, dining options, bar, business center, pool, and hot tub. Airport shuttle services are available, and guests are charged $10 per night for parking. (Photo provided) We stayed at the hotel on 1/9/2025.The price was about $168 per night.
As you step into the lobby, the check-in counter is situated to your right. The hotel staff were warm and welcoming, establishing a positive ambiance for guests. We encountered no difficulties during check-in. The lobby boasts a small business center, a bar, a restaurant, a pool, and a hot tub, which is a unique yet convenient arrangement. As you enter the hotel, the scent of chlorine from the pool is apparent. The downstairs area is expansive. The bar offers Starbucks products during morning hours.
The rooms were impressive and remarkably spacious. The beds were extremely comfortable, allowing for a restful sleep. The pillows were exceptionally soft, and the room was immaculate. We got a standard double bed room. However, the bathroom's cleanliness was compromised by the bathtub, which was unclean. (Photo Provided) It is unclear whether the housekeeper overlooked it, but attention to this detail is necessary. This was not in line with my expectations upon entering the bathroom.
We were accommodated on the 9th floor, which offered a good view of the airport. However, the hotel's surrounding area lacked diverse options for dining and activities. During our stay, we found the area to be safe for walking. Unfortunately, we did not have the opportunity to utilize the hot tub or pool, both of which are conveniently located indoors, making them accessible even in cold weather. Additionally, we did not make use of the business center or the restaurant and bar.
Although our schedule was tight, we managed to squeeze in a workout. The gym is conveniently located in the lobby, behind the elevators to the left, and is accessible 24 hours a day. The facility boasts an impressive selection of equipment, including 5 treadmills, 3 ellipticals, 2 bikes (one recumbent and one life cycle non-spin upright bike), a double cable machine with a pull-up bar, a Precor station, free weights up to 50 pounds, a towel rack, a water station, and complimentary disposable headphones. It's an excellent hotel gym for staying active while traveling.
Overall, our stay was satisfactory. The hotel's location is ideal for quick access to the airport, facilitated by their efficient shuttle service. The beds were exceptional, but we hope that in the future, the tubs will not be overlooked. We were surprised by their absence. We intend to stay here again, as the hotel provided a pleasant experience. We recommend this hotel to...

Rewards Club Recognition- 5/5. Excellent. We were verbally thanked for our loyalty at check in, and our room was upgraded to a âConcierge Loungeâ room. Although the lounge isnât yet open again, drinks were available. We were given the option of either welcome amenity points or breakfast each day.
Staff- 5/5. Excellent. Angie checked us into the property. She was thorough yet efficient. The morning breakfast staff also was very pleasant. Housekeeping was also cordial when we interacted with them.
Property Appearance & Maintenance- 5/5. Excellent. Exterior- 4/5. Very good. The grounds and entrance is in good shape; no outstanding maintenance items are evident. The entrance was debris free and well branded. Interior- 5/5. Excellent. The lobby was stylish, clean, & spacious. All lighting, both in the lobby, and in the corridors, was functional. Scuff marks on the walls, baseboards, & carpeting were minimal.
Accommodations- 4/5. Very good. We were assigned a King room on the Concierge Level floor. The carpets & walls were clean and blemish-free. The room looked recently renovated. Oddly, the only thing that didnât appear renovated was the bathroom door and the door to the closet, which both were in bad shape. Kind of a weird thing to skip! The bed was comfortable, but a sheet & light duvet & comforter was not heavy enough. The pillows were flat & the extras we had requested in our Marriott Preferences were not present in the room. We were satisfied.
Housekeeping- 4/5. Very good. The room was clean. Carpets were obviously vacuumed, and the bathroom was spotless. All towels & toiletries such as toilet paper, facial tissues, soap, shampoo, conditioner, etc., were all provided in a supply adequate for the length of our stay.
Pool/Gym- 4/5. Very good. The pool and gym were available for guest use.
Breakfast/Meal Options- 5/5. Excellent. In addition to the pantry of items available for purchase at the front desk, the restaurant is open for both breakfast and dinner. The club lounge is not yet offering hot food options in the morning or evening, but âgrab-n-goâ items (think small bags of chips, fruit) were available, along with soda & water.
Laundry- not evaluated.
Computer/Printer/WiFi- 5/5. Excellent. A computer and printer were available for hotel guests in the lobby. WiFi signal was strong throughout the hotel, but the speed was relatively slow. Streaming was difficult.
Other- Pandemic Operations: mask wearing is optional for guests, and few employees wear them. Sanitizing stations were present...
