My wife and I stayed here January 17th because we had to be to the airport for a flight. I’ll say the cost of $145 for the night plus parking seemed like a great value. BUT…

We arrived to our room at about 10pm after an awful drive through a snowstorm. We were tired and ready for bed so we quickly unpacked our overnight bags and got ready for bed. And this is where things started to go wrong. I went to close the curtains only to find the room darkening shade to be torn. Ok, not a big deal, right? Then, my wife turns down the bed only to find a long streak of blood on the sheet which is completely disgusting and something that should’ve been noticed by housekeeping, assuming anyone actually did it. It was late, we had to get up at 5am, and we didn’t want to deal with getting dressed, packing our stuff, complaining, and changing rooms to something that quite possibly might not be any better. So, we thought we’d just pull up the top sheet and sleep on it. We also both got into bed with clothes on which we never do (TMI, but helps make the point of how nasty we felt). Needless to say, we got some rest but never slept because we felt like we were staying in a roach motel or crime scene. At 5am we got up, showered and got out of there ASAP. While we were packing up, I noticed a stain on the chair that was red. Again, nasty!!! It could be blood, ketchup, or other food stain, but the point being, someone should’ve cleaned it.

So to recap, if you’re looking for a decent value, that’s about all you’ll get. We didn’t expect a lot of after all, we were checking in and out within a 7 hour timeframe. All we expected was a clean room to rest that was close to the Qwik Park lot so we could catch the shuttle and hop on our plane. This was one of the nastiest places we’ve ever stayed and definitely something the IHG brand would NOT be proud of. We get times are tough and it’s hard to find good help, but this is simply unacceptable. We’ve done the park and fly thing a lot and while there aren’t any great options in the area, we’ve had much better experiences with other brands.

Hopefully this will get them to start paying closer attention or train...

We stayed at this Holiday Inn for a hockey tournament. As soon as I checked in, the manager asked me what I was going to do to keep the kids in check. As I checked in bags in hand. Couple of my kids were trying to buy ice cream and her tone was very rude with them. Our kids were stared down even as they walked the hall with a parent not far behind. Once we got a complaint about our kids for running in the hall. I put the kabosh on that quick. There was another complaint that night and one when the manager left. She said she had another complaint and accused our kids of it. They were all in bed. She was not really believing us. Meanwhile, the pot smell and the entire hotel smelling that way was the worst I've ever smelled.

The next night, the person at the front was combative with us and kicked us out of the lobby. Said quiet hours were 9:30. Night before manager said 11. Then we heard 10. Rules were being made up on the spot and us and our kids out to be like we were the worst ever. We were not loud and noisy. They kept saying they were getting complaints, but there is no way. When we questioned, answers kept changing. We were even told that after their investigation of noise complaints and where they came from, they assumed it was us. Well, there was a room put by ours that had two kids constantly running up and down hallway, knocking on doors. They even went down to lobby without and adult like we were told we needed to have with our kids and bought stuff and lingered around. They never once checked on this. Told we were only team even though there was a wrestling team there.

We have never been made to feel so unwelcome than what we did. The night manger even threatened to sue us. Excuse me, but we had some legal people in our group as well as high level execs who let her know that what she was doing was entirely unprofessional. There are people literally with drugs and people who shouldn't be in there and we're the problem? They never once checked on anything else but to make sure we were put as the problem. I'll never stay here again. Their main boss who I emailed hasn't even sent me a message back about...

Worst hotel stay ever in 30 years phone did not work at all. Could not get a wake up call. Nobody washing room carpets were nasty. Blood stain on box spring. No fan in the bathroom. Very poor lighting in bathroom you could see through the whole entire bottom right side of the door pills were very very very flat. There was no extra pillows or blankets in the room and I can go on and on. You definitely do not want to stay there ever and when I went down and complained they said sorry the phone don't work. We can't give you a wake up call. We have no other rooms. Complete garbage, complete horrible service. I also reported to corporate. They said somebody would apologize and be getting a hold of me immediately. This was on Sunday. I told them I was flying out Monday morning and as soon as I landed in Colorado I would be reporting it to the BBB. I never heard anything from anybody so I reported to the better Business bureau Monday morning. As soon as I landed I also have tons of pictures of everything well we will see if this company is serious about their response . Number one I called their corporate office filed a complaint and they said someone would contact me immediately. It's been 4 days and I haven't heard anything but I did file a better business bureau complaint so we will see if they actually do what they say. I will update my post once I hear back from the better Business bureau as I ask for a full refund and a credit to go to a nicer hotel this company is such trash that they did not even respond to the better Business bureau. The complain against them will be permanently marked on all their records per the better Business bureau. No response at all from the company in 30 days. Complete joke again. I have pictures of everything in the room including blood all over box. Spring. Definitely would not recommend staying here....

A Horrific Experience - Theft, Lies & Zero Accountability What should have been a standard business trip turned into a nightmare I’ll never forget. Beyond the decent breakfast and one friendly staff on Day 1, this hotel is a cesspool of negligence and outright theft. I stayed for 7 days/6 nights. On the final evening, exhausted from work, I left two rings on the bathroom floor (terrified they’d slip down the drain). One was priceless—my late husband’s anniversary gift. The next morning, I checked every surface except the floor (my fatal oversight). Mid-flight, I realized my mistake and immediately called the hotel. The front desk claimed housekeeping reported "only discarded clothes"—no jewelry. I begged them to let my colleague search the room. They refused. Hung up on me. My colleague went in person. The staff turned hostile—"NOTHING left in room!"—with smug disdain. No records. No investigation. Just cold denial. I offered $500+ rewards, pleaded. Silence. One of my other coworkers also lost a mouse and no return. Absolutely no security for personal belongings—even staff can't be trusted! That ring held 10 years of memories. Now it’s gone—stolen by greedy hands, enabled by staff who chose to protect a thief. No empathy. No professionalism. Just a broken system where "rules" shield criminals. To anyone reading: Never assume safety. One oversight, and you’ll meet the same heartless machinery. I’m heartbroken, but no one there cared to listen and help.

This hotel has serious issues. First, the constant parties between 3-7 PM with paper-thin walls made it impossible to rest. But the real shock was how they handled my colleague’s lost items—two rings left on the bathroom floor (one of deep sentimental value). Despite reporting it within two hours of checkout, the staff insisted nothing was found. I went to inquire was ignored for 30 minutes before being dismissed with a curt “nothing left in the room.” No effort to investigate, no accountability. The hotel has an obligation to supervise the safety of guests' belongings. Although the colleague left his belongings behind when checking out, this is definitely not the behavior and attitude of a responsible hotel and staff in handling the matter. Shame on this hotel.

Hotel serves its purpose - seems pretty clean and beds aren’t bad. Absolutely NOT soundproof rooms - all night long you could hear doors slamming shut down the hall, kids yelling, even people just talking normally in the halls could be heard clear as day in the room. The wall with the adjoining door has a large hole through the drywall - this is something you would expect to have been noticed and taken care of by housekeeping. We booked through “Park Sleep & Fly” ahead of time. When doing so, my email said I owe a remaining balance of $154. When I got to the hotel, I was charged $260. Overall, I am not happy. Most likely we will NOT be back as there are plenty of other hotels in the area. With the same offerings to park and shuttle to the airport.
