Bar 101 — Restaurant in Romulus

I tried to eat out here, there were only 4 people in the whole place that were family members of the owner, two being employees. Apparently they do not take credit cards, cash only...and couldn't break our bill, nothing over a twenty accepted. There wasn't a menu to choose anything from only 3 things that were given to us verbally as an option. Even when we were trying to order a drink they had a bar area but no alcohol available, and only a couple drinks to choose from. No lemons for the water. We had to leave being as it was such an inconvenience. I'm not sure if they were just starting up the restaurant or what! Also upon leaving one of the family members was outside in his car yelling for us to go back in and give the food a try. That we won't find anything better ...give what a try? The air and the booths? Went to have a drink since it says “bar” on the building & sign, but they don’t actually sell alcohol 😂. They won’t tell you that either coming in, but they might stare at you weirdly when you walk in! (if anyone is into that) I sat down for like 20-30 minutes before someone in the building actually told me I’d have to leave to buy alcohol because all they actually serve is ice & red solo cups, but it’s a “bar.” Okay lol. The space itself is nice but it’s definitely not an enjoyable scene for anyone under 35 or who would be expecting to be able to get anything more than a cup of ice. When I tried to leave initially to get cash (since they don’t accept card for the entry) they’d locked the door from the inside and didn’t seem to want to let me out for some reason… definitely wouldn’t ever come back, staff aren’t exactly the most inviting or...

Ordered threw Eat24. Paid with paypal (which is cool) this was delivery waited 1 1/2 hours for my food. The guy that got there wanted me to pay. I told them I paid already and had to wait another 5 mins or so while he made a call to make sure I paid. (I even tipped too which i shouldn't have at all) well the fried calamari was squishy the breading was cakey and tasted like flour. The pizza was WAY over seasoned with italian seasoning, veey dry (hardly any sause) lukewarm and slightly burnt and crust extremely hard. Fries where the only things that tasted ok.
