The Landing Strip Lounge — Restaurant in Romulus

For the past 4 years I have lived less than a 20 minute walk from this place ( about a mile ) and never went until earlier this evening 7/15/21. I walked in and the valet was cool about it = no parking charge. $20.00 cover charge on entering = no biggy and typical. I sat at the bar and Rea or Ree was my barmaid / server was on it completely. I am a veteran and practically deaf except everyone was understanding about that. I had a bottled beer and kettle 1 while I waited for the " surf n turf " = lobster and filet mignon with rice, mixed veggies and a fantastic salad . A couple totally attractive dancers stopped around me and were totally polite and totally made me feel like a VIP = Daisy and Jess. They left me be while I enjoyed the perfectly done meal and checked in on me in-between their "regulars". I think it was JOE the bouncer or manager who also checked to see if everything for me was good. Along with Peat the DJ who is awesome and kindly directed me the the way out as I was departing. I tipped accordingly to all that served and was treated great. Joe gave me a VIP pass for my next admission visit. I will definitely be back. I’m only giving this 5 stars for all the hard working women and the staff. My friend Justin loved the Philly cheese steak. The servers are great. However management please stop letting all those bald headed uncles in the “Motown sports group” or whatever to completely throw off the vibe by playing ice cube movie soundtracks and diddy party type music. Seriously these guys have their own playlist and it’s trash music the girls can’t dance to it and the rest of the club has to watch these horn dog uncles dry hump women like it’s a middle school dance. No reason I should be coming in on a Saturday night for my girlfriends birthday and have to see “no hip hop gear” then witness one group of people get star status that look like they went to first ever Diddy party without real diddy party money(no I’m not accusing them of being bad people I’m just saying they freaky and down bad). Seriously take off the “no hip hop gear” rule that sounds racist and unintelligent. It’s not 1647 and slavery is illegal now guys. Did your owner vote for Ronald Reagan or something and help the CIA put crack in black...

Another great spot to visit. This hidden gem is near the airport and has been a good place to hit before leaving out of town. Usually an excuse to stop at when picking up friends when they land at DTW lol. Great looking staff, some as hot or hotter than the talent but stick to the dancers...I like midday and nights there because you see two sets of girls. DON’T try and date the strippers! They will hurt you and leave you wanting more. The drinks are moderately priced but ask for bottle pricing because after a few rounds for yourself and buying strippers drinks your better off. It amazes me that amateurs come here and complain about drink prices. Don’t come to a strip bar if you don’t want to spend some money. Especially if there’s hot talent.
