Jet's Pizza — Restaurant in Roosevelt Park

I always have a good experience with the food but today I went to place a delivery order for some items totaling $17. After the $3 delivery fee and taxes it was $21 dollars and their website refused to accept the order unless our order total was at least $20 for food alone. So now the delivery fee isn't good enough to deliver the food I want? The only way to get them to take the order is to add items that make the total go up to almost $30. Last time I checked a gallon of gas isn't $3 and it definitely does NOT take a whole gallon for them to deliver 7 miles away....unless they're delivering in a tank. And that doesn't include the tip to the driver which is extra too. I'm sorry but $35 (after tip and fees) for a deliboat and salad from a pizza chain is just outrageous. I had ordered two half-and-half pizzas. One pizza was half cheese and half pepperoni. And the other pizza was half supreme and half custom. The custom side had no meat on it. When we got to our destination and opened the pizza, the custom side had pepperoni all throughout it. I usually don’t have trouble with this location. I did the text to order like I usually do. They said they would text me with an approximate time for pick up. I never got that text. When we called to ask about it the employee seemed annoyed. Could be because the system wasn’t working, could be because they were busy. I don’t know. Then we got the pizza and it was put together incorrectly. Luckily we had a cheese option too but half a pizza was wasted. We also ordered the super special and they told us that that was not unavailable option. Have had trouble a few months ago off and on. Can't seem to get the orders correct. Get our order delivered and wrong items on 3 separate occassions. Thought I would wait a few months & try again I called to place an order for any large specialty pizza they have been announcing on tv for $13.99. Just seen it on tv again & I called to order and was told that expired and not in their system. Well the commercial is on 1 of our local channels and says nothing about being expired. Talked to the manager named Chase and he refused to honor the price that is still on tv. This place is not the same from when it 1st opened. Chase was not customer service friendly at all. He is aware of commercial being on tv and in my opinion they should honor their special. Commercial has no expiration date. I'm done with this place. I'm gonna stick to the new Lombardos on Sherman.
