I am one of those people who will research something to death, it drives my family NUTS. So how do you think it was when I wanted to buy a new chair? Crazy! I went to multiple stores sat in dozens of chairs and created my own cost/value/comfort graph! Most of the stores I went to I felt accosted trying to make it to the chair area. “I just want to sit in some chairs”. They would hover like a vulture waiting for prey to die or in this case waiting for me to make eye contact then the sales person would swoop in for the high pressure “this price won’t last” kind of pitch! NOT AT BLENDED! I was able to go in and not be accosted by sales people, because as I found out they don’t work on a commission. With this said they were available to answer questions when I had them. They also didn’t mind me going back and forth a dozen times from chair to chair trying to see which I liked best. Once I did find a chair then my wife had 100s if choices of fabric which the sales people guided her through so it wasn’t overwhelming! We have dogs and they showed us all types of dog/kid friendly fabrics which actually work! The dog hair easily brushes off with your hand and I even got oil paint on the fabric and just wiped it off! The bottom line is this: Buying at Blended you can expect great products at a great price with zero haggling or “deal” making Which can be so uncomfortable. My wife went to pick up a piece of furniture from this location during a snow storm on Wednesday. She had been inquiring on it for a couple of weeks now along with myself and she decided to go with it. The price of the piece was $647. When she was talking to the salesperson they showed her a couple of damaged areas in which my wife then asked because of the damage could she buy it for $600 instead of the $647. As soon as she asked for a discount because of the imperfections the consultant very sternly said "No, its worth $647!" without hesitation and changed their attitude towards her for the remainder of her time in the store. My wife was a little taken aback, but still agreed to buy it. Once she checked out she asked if someone could help her get the piece into her truck and reluctantly they agreed, but seemed annoyed to have to help. This was around a 80-100lb piece of furniture mind you. Once they helped her get it into the back of the truck she thanked them and the last thing they said to her was... "If it breaks back there you can't bring it back!"

We have strong ties to Muskegon and we have both been telling everyone that we work with and all the guests we had at a birthday party at our home this weekend about the poor experience at Blended Furniture and to stay away and we will keep doing so... Customer service, attitudes, and disrespect especially to a woman alone in a store buying a heavy product could not...
