Anna Maria's II In Roscoe — Restaurant in Roscoe Township

Management here is absolutely awful. This used to be my go to place not anymore. I placed an order & then I get there for pickup & the food was not what I ordered at all. They told me they would not give me what I ordered when the girl on the phone told me my order was totally fine & I would have an up charge fee. Which I was 100% okay with because I have ordered this before & had an up charge. I ordered chicken Parmesan with fettuccine Alfredo instead of their spaghetti they serve with it. When I got there the manager told me that they would not do that for me. When I have ordered this from them multiple times. I don’t know why the girl would tell me that it was okay for the manager to tell me she would substitute. I also explained to the manager that if this is something they did not want to do then they should’ve called me before I came to pick up my order. I am absolutely disgusted with how I was treated especially by the manager. I know this will not get anywhere management wise but I wanted to let people know that if you order something from this place don’t be surprised if it’s not what you ordered when you get there to pick it up. Horrible...

although it shows one star...it really should be 0 stars, or negative stars. I called on Saturday 7/15 and placed and order to go, lady on phone said it would be ready in 10 minutes. (i live 15 mins away, so i knew I would be a little late). I get there and ask for my order and they go back and pull the ticket off a ticket rack and read my order to me, I say yes(expecting to be handed a bag of food I ordered), but he tells me its not been started yet, and that the owner needs to show up for it to be cooked. There are 4 people behind the counter (one of them eating in the kitchen) and none of them I guess are capable of making food. The guy told me that If i wanted to wait, he was sure the owner would be there at some point. I was so aggravated that they took my order and had me drive 30 minutes for nothing. I cancelled my order and all future orders. Its hard to give business to small businesses in the community when they are run like this. I will...

Until very recently, my rating would've been a solid 3. This is because although they have some of the best pizza in the area, the customer service experience was usually lacking, including rude staff and having to play mind games to get the price before you arrived. The food was always excellent but those aspects really took away, even if I did consider it some of the best pizza ever (and I used to live in Chicago).

Finally, what used to be affordable pizza is now insanely expensive. I remember spending $16 with a tip for an amazing pizza. The last time I went my total came out closer to $30. It just is not justifiable or affordable. I am going to miss the pizza, but I cannot afford to buy local with prices like that. Guess I'll stick to the 5 toppings for $10 carryout deal...
