I am super disappointed by this Burger King today. This might be a long review, buckle up kiddos, here we go!
So, because of Covid, there's no ice in the lobby, there are no napkins available in the lobby and no ketchup available in the lobby. I complety understand that Covid has changed our lives as Americans and restaurants especially as they attempt to meet guidelines to remain open and serving the public.
That being said, let me give you a quick run down of my experience:
I come inside on Monday July 5th around 11am. There were only 2 other customers and they had both been served and were waiting to recieve their food. The temperature outside was around 90 degrees and my son (3 years old) was red faced and burning up. When I was asked by the cashier if this was to go or for here, I opted to eat in the lobby so my son could cool down in the AC. The guy that served me at the register was awesome and super friendly, I wish I had caught his name so I could make it clear that he was NOT the problem today. The problem, and this is really sad, was the manager Nancy. I only know her name because as I was leaving I asked her what her name was and was she the manager. He confirmed she was and that her name was Nancy.
Because there was no ice, ketchup or napkins, I made 3 separate trips to the front counter to retrieve the things i needed to feed myself and my 3 year old son.
My first trip to the counter was to ask for ice since I couldn't fill my cup in the lobby, I immediately regretted needing to ask Nancy for anything as she gave me a look that clearly let me know I was inconveniencing her by asking for ice in the cup they just handed me as if I was wrong for that.
My second trip was for ketchup because there's no sauce offered or given for the 4 piece kids nuggets (way overcooked and chewy, not great today). I ask ONLY for a bit of ketchup, once again Nancy gave me the crappiest dirty look, as if I am in the wrong for asking for ANYTHING to offset the dry over cooked nuggest for a small child.
Then napkins and that was the last straw, I asked for napkins, with an apologetic smile and she threw them on the counter. If the handful of napkins had ANY upward trajectory I would've said she threw them at me.
I stared at her in disbelief and went to my table. I was understandably a bit peeved so I turned to look at the counter and the manager is STARING at me with no smile, only undisguised animosity.
I know this was a long review but I am not happy with this location or they way I was treated for a kids meal and a sandwich that cost me near $20. I do not recommend this location. I will not use that location ever again. Elevator and Hononegah in case...
Read moreAbsolutely the worst experience I've ever had. And I've had some bad ones. To keep it simple, I was there for 45 minutes. I went inside for take out for the record.
First, I ran into a lady I knew who was furious over her order and service, whom went through the driver through and received the wrong/poor quality order. Taking her food back to be corrected.
Second, the minute I walk in, I see every customer before me returning their meals that were wrong/not made correctly.
Third, was a bunch of kids, sloppy uniforms, joking around, talking about anything but work, and as soon as something was wrong, blamed each other like it was a joke. The girl at the register asked if I wanted to round up my change to donate to some donation drive... she couldnt remember what it was called 😆
Fourth, I took my food out to my vehicle, checked it over and it was wrong, as I thought it would be.
Fifth, I took it back in and waited again to be helped. Yet again, staff was playing around, joking whos fault it was. So then I asked who the manager was, because I started to heat up. 5:30pm and she is in the back room, did not see her the ENITRE time I was there. I explained the issue with my order and she was cordial at first, proceeded to remake the entire order herself. Major problem here is the caveat. She had to tell her line cook to calm down because of my complaint and mentioning all the other customer complaints. From there, RED HOT.
Sixth, I get home and my food is undercooked. Burgers, fries chicken. And the 2nd replacement was made by the manager. Dont go here unless you want to be sick or mad.
Seventh, I get home and realize my food is undercooked, after 40$ and an hour plus of my time, I call the store to explain my experience. I got about 30 seconds in to my experience and I began to get talked over, "oh its new staff, oh they just started for summer break". Wait a minute.. I didnt see you for 45 minutes and you are not on the front lines with rookies in a friday night rush hour?????? Couldnt get that through to her, so I said I'm calling corporate and
I will be taking this up the ladder, and probably further than district or even regional, for the fact that how can you place someone in charge of a facility that needs first to conform to health/food safety regulations, second that argues with a customer thats dissatisfied.
Absolute garbage experience. If a corporate figure sees this review Ill kindly...
Read moreWent throught the drive thru and the first thing I stated SPECIFICALLY was "I would like entire order cooked fresh to order please" (due to the previous order being cold and stale). The response from the Burger King employee was "We are busy and everything is fresh." What an unfortunate and blatant lie. After ordering 3 fresh cooked to order Whoppers and fries... I received 3 cold burgers and luke warm fries. We spent $18.32 and did not receive the order requested. Burger King's motto is "Your Way RIght Away" but we were cheated and ended up wasting our money and could not eat the cold unfresh food. We are livid about the situation as we made specific requests and apparently was ignored. No one likes cold burgers and fries. We were told to pull up to wait additional time for supposedly hot fresh food....just to still receive cold food is simply unacceptable. The loud, unprofessional attendant at the window (with wild hair and neon color painted claw nails) did not even give us a reciept. We only received a stub which we included in the uploads section. We were charged $18.32 according to my bank account. Requesting a refund or some form of compensation for the severe incompetence above....
