China Tasty — Restaurant in Roselle Park

The people are nice I've always liked them and the service but I'm disappointed in the food quality this time. Ordered a fried seafood combination and it tastes as if it was microwaved the fish is not fresh its more like a fish filet that had been put in a microwave. The fried crab sticks tastes horrible soon as I bit into this and the fish I immediately spit it out. The shrimp were passable but very small. The scallops not good thank goodness I ordered fries they were edible the half chicken I ordered was fine. The dumplings very doughy. My son's father didn't like his general tsos chicken he said the wings were fine. I haven't tried the shrimp with broccoli yet I hope that will be okay. But very disappointing for spending $90 won't get food here again. Not trying to destroy a business but the prices don't match the quality portions are fine but expect to receive quality food. Sad I have to write this review it's Christmas eve and in our tradition I ordered Chinese particularly from this place because I was thinking about my deceased step dad whom we used to rent movies and eat Chinese but he is gone and this place has gone down hill just more sadness don't make a food decision based on feelings and nostalgic memories. I am all about supporting my community. this is my local Chinese restaurant that I go to more then often today will be my last purchase ever from this restaurant. I purchased fried chicken with pork fried rice the chicken was too big for the carton. I asked if she can just separate the chicken and not staple the box previous from doing that the staple was in my food. I was told she was unable to sperate the wings. I will have to be charged. She was extremely rude this remark came straight from the owners mouth. Best Chinese food in NJ. Always fresh and delicious. We had shrimp egg rolls, fried to perfection. Garlic wontons were fabulous. The garlic chicken wings are better than any wings you've ever had. Beef with scallions and chicken with garlic were so yummy. Our guests frequent Chinatown in NYC, and said they'll be coming to NJ for their Chinese cravings from now on.
