No longer a fan. I ordered through UberEats in which they require you for some reason to choose a cheese to add to your omelette. I can't have cheese as im lactose intolerant and stated in the notes that please do not add cheese to my order as I was forced to pick cheese. And yet they completely ignored the comments and added cheese anyways. I call them to let them know and they could care less. I paid for an unsatisfactory food delivery and the only resolution I was offered was to come pick it up which defeats the purpose. I'd rather go to a restaurant at that point and I sure wouldn't go to brunch Cafe in that case.
Fair warning, if you order DoorDash or UberEats for Brunch Cafe they don't read comments. Strong chance your order comes back wrong. I have avoided ordering delivery from them because of the required field nonsense, but my wife insisted. Now we see why I never did delivery through them. Just save your money and headache. Especially if you're hungry.
Update/Response to Owner: Let me start by saying I could completely understand that point. However, this is not the first time you have made this mistake. Actually it's more the 3rd or 4th time. This is just my first time writing a review about it.
While mistakes happen. What happens when you get my kids order wrong and they're starving and the only recommendation you have is to drive to you and pick it up. I ordered delivery for a reason. And if that's your situation, its even more important to ensure people pay attention to details. This is not an uber apps problem so please do not blame them. They have reimbursed us each time without issue, but that has not stopped the problem from occurring. This is not an issue of receiving a wrong order, but pointing out a continuous habit of getting orders incorrect due to not reading the comments.
If you like to avoid this mistake, how about removing the required section so that you wont have this mistake? This was not there before so not sure why the change was needed. Or how about making sure you read the notes to ensure you capture what the customer wants? You dont own the app, but you can sure minimize the mistake on your end. I work about 5 minutes away from this place and pick up food frequently the food is always fresh and delicious! They have gone out of their way for me and my coworkers a few times. One time we ordered for pick up and my coworker ordered a salad and said no blue cheese, I went for the food and didn't take a look at the food since 99% of the time it has been correct! Well my coworker got blue cheese on the salad so we called to go pick up a new one we work so close it was no problem! Well let me tell you guys! The owner went out of his way to drop of a fresh salad making sure there was no blue cheese! Honestly best customer service I have seen in a VERY long time! And then today 8/1/19 I placed an order for delivery through doordash for what ever reason it took longer then usual and after an hour I decided to call. Not sure what was wrong with doordash but my order was cancelled.:( I called brunch and told them I could pick my food up. That doordash cancelled, due to not having enough dashers. The gentlemen I spoke with said that was no problem that they were making me a fresh one! My absolute favorite is their (TURKEY AVOCADO panini with homemade chips or sweet potato fries!) MUST TRY! I was going to pay for my food through the phone and the lady I was speaking with put me on hold she wanted to check something. She then spoke to me again and said not to worry about paying, that it was on them and they apologize for the inconvenience. Which was not their fault but they still decided to go out of their way! Read moreFirst of I came during a weekend in the afternoon. The waiter was super friendly and sat us down pretty fast considering the place was packed that day. I was honestly looking forward to eating here since it had pretty good reviews but food was not what I expected. Also the waitress service was not good at all. So mind you I came with both my kids. As far as their meal one had the fruity pebbles pancakes with an apple juice and a side of eggs. He seemed very happy with the meal. The second one had the mini hamburgers and fries. They looked 🔥 and had a great presentation. He was also very content with his choice and I feel like it was plenty of food for a kids meal. I on the other hand ordered the avocado toast which came with potatoes and I also ordered strawberry banana crepes. The avocado toast was topped with arugula and cherry tomatoes and balsamic. To be honest the toast was not what I expected. The avocado was browning and it had a weird taste. The potatoes on the other hand were good but they were over burnt! The crepes were actually pretty good no complaints there. As far as the service the waitress was rude and inattentive. I had to ask her for napkins which she took a long time to bring. I also had their coffee and when I was out not only was she no where to be found. When she did finally came she was actually dismissing another table which she took a guy a coffee and he clearly did.
