Lake Street Pub — Restaurant in Roselle

My husband and I enjoy the food at this bar. It's above and beyond bar food expectations. The same cook is there every time we go there, which has been varying times open to close. The drink selection is also awesome. My favorite is the lemon drop martini and my husband loves the liquid marijuana. The specials are awesome too. Friday special lately has been the Jim Beam and Jim Beam Stag (cherry flavored). Emily is great and Bobby is a character. The GM and her daughter are good no nonse sort of people. It's not expensive, but also not really a dive either. Casual. Seating at the bar is unavailable at times, but they have high tops and regular tables as well. I love the DJ, but sometimes they have talented local bands. I suggest trying it out if you're a local. The bartenders have been there for a while and they're all ladies, and I trust them to keep it...

Got their mailer, which was ugly; went to the strip mall, it's ugly; looked at their sign logo, quite ugly; tried to read the menu, it's printed upside down on one side... and ugly.

Ordered the Bacon Bloody Mary (ugly) and wings that were supposed to be on sale per the mailer, but were not (Sunday apparently, difficult to discern on ugly menu even). They were overcooked and dry, but the "Extra Buffalo" sauce is decently hot, which is what that means.

The men's room is ugly and soap dispenser is broken (I thought this was a new place?), the soffit light outside kicks on at sunset but they have no blinds nor shades, the pen to sign the check was wicked dirty / ugly and no one greeted or said farewell even though the place was empty besides early starting drunks on a Saturday afternoon.

I don't know, maybe...

Went there with my Brother to try there $1 burgers. We were waited on but this heavyset blonde girl who was disrespectful and acted like everything was one big bother for her. It took 8 mins to get refills on a water and soda also saw her downing shots behind the bar. Then when it was time to pay and leave I found a small error on our bill that I explained to her and she just grabbed it out of our hands and said that she couldn't be bothered with it and that she would just comp the meal and my Brother said he heard her bad mouthing us in front of guests as we were leaving. This person should not be working anywhere close to customers and I only hope she doesn't pull the place down. 2 stars cause the food itself...
