First time ever at this restaurant. Apparently told it has been many years at this location in Rosenberg. We arrived with 8 folks for a birthday dinner at 7 pm. Had to wait an hour to even be seated. They had 2 huge parties who decided to be rude and sit around and chit chat after eating knowing others were waiting for the tables to be seated during very busy dinner time. They closed at 9 pm on Saturdays which is ridiculous to say the least for an indoor eating facility. They are open until 10 pm on Fridays. Seriously u think Friday is busier than Saturday dinner crowds? We finally were seated at 8 pm. Before seating us I told the host guy so we are just now being seated we don't want to be rushed out of here if u close at 9 pm because u could not push other tables together to seat 8 folks prior to 8 pm. He said no worries we stay open as late as they need in serving their customers. I had 5 elderly folks with me so they eat slow and that was my concern. It took us another hour before we received our food. They ran out of baked potatoes for two of my aunts and offered mashed potatoes as a consolation item. No chives for potatoes..wow. I will have to say though that their food was delicious and fresh for being overpriced for comfort food. I don't see myself going here anytime soon if they can't accommodate folks in a timely manner. Don't get me started on their lack of parking space in front or side of their restaurant. None to speak off for sure. For the monies u charge you should have ample parking and seating inside. Big fail on this...
Read moreVisited Bull Creek with my family after my husband saw the great reviews online. I had grilled chicken with green beans and a side salad. The chicken and green beans were delicious but the side salad was disappointing due to having a large piece of cucumber, a large purple onion slice, and a large piece of tomato. Chop the veggies guys. Huge chunks of vegetables don't work in a salad. The honey mustard dressing also did not taste like honey mustard and seemed like mostly an oil flavor. My husband ordered the hamburger steak with mac and cheese but traded his mac and cheese to our son for his steak fries. He really enjoyed his food. I thought the steak fries were a little tough. Our son had chicken bites and his dad's mac and cheese. Both were absolutely delicious but the gravy (while good) tasted of garlic more than a traditional cream gravy. Our rolls were great. Social distancing and masks were being enforced. Our server was patient and friendly. My main negative was due to their cups. I ordered a water and it tasted bad, like cleaning solution (which we told our server). The server brought me another water to try and it tasted the same. He said sometimes their water tasted strange so I ordered a Sprite instead. This also had a very strong cleaning solution scent. My son's water in a disposable kid's cup tasted fine. So clearly the issue was their cups. Overall, I would definitely return to Bull Creek but I would bring in a...
Read more9.16.20. I cannot put into words how good those grilled pork chops were with those loaded mashed potatoes and green beans I thought I had died and gone to heaven . My food has consistently been good actually great !!!!. Please please don't change anything . My second favorite part is their drinks ...they really pack a punch and they are very reasonably priced. ....The cook is a gentleman and definitely knows how to season green beens!!! All the food is good. ...on 6.28.2019 we we're seated in the bar and had the bartender serving us she definitely made us feel like she was only doing her job and nothing more. just feel like she could have forced herself to be a little friendlier and perhaps give us a smile as it is the end of the week ( trying to de-stress) I drive from Westheimer area of Houston (40 minutes)to meet my friend here in Rosenberg for our Friday night girls meet up. We won't be sitting back...
