From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with a colorful display of cupcakes, cookies, and brownies that immediately spark joy. The vibe is cozy and relaxed, and the staffâespecially the managerâgo out of their way to make every guest feel like family. When we visited to plan our baby girlâs first birthday, the manager took the time to walk us through all the options and helped us build the perfect mix of cupcakes, plus a 6-inch smash cake.
What really impressed us was the hospitality. When our little one got a bit fussy, the manager sweetly offered her some crackersâone of those small but thoughtful gestures that stays with you. And before we left, they surprised us with extra cupcakes to sample beyond what we had purchased. That kind of generosity, paired with desserts that are truly next-levelâmoist, flavorful, not overly sweet or heavyâis what sets this bakery apart. The quality and care are undeniable.
Hummingbird Bakery doesnât just make dessertsâthey create moments youâll want to come back for. Whether youâre planning a celebration or just craving something special, this is a stop worth making. Trust usâitâs more than worth the drive.

Read moreI didnât want to write this review, but I felt I had to. I really wanted to like this place. It was my first time coming and I needed a cake for my husbandâs birthday party. Now donât get me wrong, the cake was BEAUTIFUL, but it didnât taste good AT ALL. It was really dry and tasted oldâŚVERY OLD. (Like it wasnât cooked that week old). I donât know if it was kept in the refrigerator or what, but it was pretty bad. I was so upset because whoever made my cake knew it shouldnât have been served. It saddens me because everyone there (at the bakery) was so nice and the cookies on display were really good. I paid $100 dollars for an inedible cake and I was very disappointed (none of my guests liked it and said I should take it back, but I didnât want to cause a fuss). I didnât mind the price, because Iâve paid more for cakes in the past. I will not be returning. I hate...
Read moreI picked up my daughter's birthday cake this morning and i would say it was an okay cake, and i am disappointed. My daughter loves baby shark and i selected a nemo cake from their catalog, on which nemo was made in 3D with fondant. I asked them to make baby shark and also a turtle instead of nemo and octopus similar to the cake they had in their catalog. The baker cut the baby shark picture and stuck it on the fondant, and turtle was no where to be found. The whole point was for me to get this cake was to get the baby shark character that my daughter loves. Especially, she loves making characters out of play dough, i thought she would have enjoyed the actual baby shark. I paid $75 for 6 inch cake upfront, i was paying high price since they will be making all these characters. I wouldn't go their again. I have posted pics on the yelp. Baker did...
