I was actually in the Drive Thru at Church's Chicken next door and saw they had a Chalk Board outside.their door advertising their food,I wanted something different and love Indian Food,I drove in the parking and walked in and was promptly greeted and provided a menu I was craving a rice dish and opted for the Chicken Biriyani, I was cutting it close only had 20 min Minutes before I had to return back to work at home. I asked the gentleman if he would be able to make my food in that time and he said that it should only take about 10 minutes or so. There was only one other person there at the moment she was waiting for food in the dining area, I asked what she ordered and I thanked her and took notes for tge next time I came in if the food was as good as the service I knew I'd be back. The Gemtleman cooked up the my food and brought it to me and I took it home. It smelled delicious. Once i got home and opened up the lid and it was incredible. The chicken was moist. The rice was perfect, the food had the perfect amount of seasoning. I had to log back in at work (teleworking) and I found myself sneaking in a bites whenever I could. It was so delicious. It was one of the first times that I've ever called back a restaurant and complimented them for how fantastic the food was. So I'm leaving this review. In hope that more people will support it. This business and they will be able to sustain themselves. I believe they do catering as well. And that may be their first line of business, but I'm glad that they offer an option to be able to eat in. They have a little dining area there. You know, to eat it's not super fancy, but it's very comfortable if somebody wants to eat lunch there are some tables in this nice little area to dine. I'm more focused on the quality of the food and the service.than I am the ambience and you know it's a functional commercial Kitchen with an adjacent area with a area for dining. Everything was very clean and tasteful and it was very welcoming and I would have felt very comfortable eating there had I had more time? Thank You again Bombay Cuisine and Indian Sweets.I will...
Read moreI was surprised that this place offered an all you can eat lunch buffet and decided to give it a try. The store is kind of like a bakery with a lot of Indian pastries in nice glass displays. There are also many pre packaged plastic containers full of bakery type items on tables.
There are several tables set up in the store for the buffet and restaurant service toward one side of the store. The buffet was set up on a table in the section of the store with the tables. A couple TV's were mounted up high on the walls. The only minor negative for me on my visit was the colored LED lights that were installed on the window that was right up against the table where we were seat. The blue light was a little intense. Not bad enough for me to ask to be moved, but bright enough for me to notice that it wasn't pleasant a few times while I ate.
The food was very good with a selection of most of my favorite Indian lunch buffet dishes that I find at other Indian buffets. The Paneer in two of the dishes offered the day I went was very good. There was Chai milk tea that was very hot and tasty. The servers brought out garlic Naan bread as part of the meal. It had a good amount of garlic but was not overwhelming. The price was comparable to other all you can eat buffets these days at a few dollars less than $20.
The store also offered a lot of what I thought was unique pastries. I am not that familiar with Indian pastries so not sure how unique they are if you are more familiar with Indian bakeries. There was one that looked like a mini apple. They put a real apple stem in the middle for aesthetics. A couple of the pastries had a very thin silver foil on them which we were told is edible and used for medicinal purposes sometimes.
Overall, I enjoyed my visit and will most likely be back for the buffet and try a few of the pastries next time. Will just have to request a table away...
Read moreIf you're in Roseville and looking for delicious Indian food and sweets, you have to check out Bombay Cuisine & Indian Sweets. This place is a true hidden gem.
I had an awesome lunch at Bombay Cuisine & Indian Sweets. The food was incredibly fresh and delicious - you can tell that everything is made with care and attention to detail. They also make a variety of sweets, and I tried a few that were all equally delicious.
What really stood out to me, though, was the kindness of the owners. They are clearly passionate about their food and their business, and they have also helped donate to feed the homeless in the area.
The location of Bombay Cuisine & Indian Sweets is also great - it's right next to India Market & Eyebrow Threading & Chaat Corner. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is cozy and welcoming, and the service is top-notch.
Overall, I highly recommend Bombay Cuisine & Indian Sweets to anyone looking for delicious Indian food and sweets in Roseville. The food is fresh and flavorful, the owners are kind and generous, and the location is convenient. Don't miss out on this awesome...
