Senpais Cafe — Restaurant in Roseville

My favorite boba place ever! Starting with the drinks they're priced at a really good point, unlike other places I've been priced out of, like Dutch and Starbucks. Each one that I've gotten so far is delicious and you tell them how sweet you want it and they have a large selection of drinks and add ons like tapioca or lychee or jelly.

The atmosphere is awesome and very welcoming, I've never stayed at drink shop for as long as I have here, they always have a new anime playing and lots of manga to read. Everything looks and feels clean!

The staff is so sweet and the owner is super awesome and i can tell he loves his workers and loves running the shop! I donated a manga book that I just dont use anymore and I got a free drink! I was very excited to try Senpai’s Cafe when I heard about it. I love trying new places for their natural brewed tea flavors, which is why it’s unfortunate to say that the milk tea here… isn’t very good. The tea lacks finer flavors that more established boba shops tend to have, and seems to rely more on add-ins to compensate.

My friends and I agree that the fruity drinks are sickeningly sweet and dominated with the taste of syrups, so much that nobody wanted to finish the drink 😢. The brown sugar boba is a bit gummy-like, but otherwise not unlikeable.

I got the caramel apple chai tea and was honestly not liking it. I got regular sweetness, maybe if I did the more sweet it may have been better. The boyfriend got the tiger brown sugar with the Boba and he loved it. We also ordered the bao, which I felt was mediocre at best, as well as the chocolate sweet bun and Hokkaido sweet bun which were both tasty but very very very light in flavor (these are prepackaged and definitely had no bearing on the stars)
