While I really had high hopes for this place, being the ratings were REALLY high for this place, I was gravely disappointed. There was nothing wrong with the service. Although our waitress was new, and was a little weird at times, she was great. She tended to us quickly and made sure we were doing good at the table and that our glasses were full. However, the food, the reason why we were there.... was pretty lackluster. Now, my review is just for the Chicken Katsu with Curry and the Teriyaki Chicken. NOT THE SUSHI. Whenever I go to a Japanese restaurant and they serve curry, that is ALWAYS my go to. Not many places here in the Sacramento area serve Japanese curry since its not usually a dish people think of when they think of Japanese, so when I see it on the menu, I can only think they have something good on there hands, however, this didnt seem to be the case. Presentation was pretty, but if the taste isn't there, then the presentation doesn't matter. The curry was pretty bland, barely any flavor, and there really wasn't much of it. The Katsu Chicken was paper thin and there also wasn't much of it, nothing to write home to mom. It was served with a small bowl of rice......Any curry place I have been to.... it was always served with a good portion of rice. The curry is the highlight of the dish and you should always serve it with a good portion of rice, otherwise its just Japanese gumbo or soup. We also had the Teriyaki Chicken. Paper thin and dry. Overall, probably wont try this place again. Kind of sad, had high hopes for the curry.

Very disappointing! First off the extremely quiet environment sets an awkward tone in the restaurant right when you walk in. The staff is friendly so no complaint there, however our waitress was very awkward with every interaction we had with her. I also had to remind her to bring out some of the items that were supposed to be included with the meal, and the drink I had ordered. They don't have a soda fountain, so it's $2 for every can of soda instead of $2 and free refills like 99% of all restaurants in the US. To top off the whole experience portion of this review, they offer a kid's menu yet they did not have any child friendly cups or plates for small children, just large breakable glassware. As for the food... The teriyaki chicken was bone dry and overcooked. The teriyaki ribeye was really chewy and bland, and the spicy tuna roll was mediocre at best and not spicy at all. As a suggestion to the owner, and I mean this respectfully, you should have someone edit the English menu as it does not read easily. It's full of grammatical errors and confusing statements. Also I believe having the music that was barely audible in the background be a little louder so that it cuts the awkward quiet, and customers don't feel like everyone in there can hear their conversation. I think there is room for improvement and potential in this restuarant, but it just wasn't all that impressive for our first experience.

We just happened to walk into this restaurant one day and this place has quickly become a favorite in my family. They have a lot of variety and big portions for a good price. I don’t even like sushi, but they have plenty of other options so I never leave hungry. My husband and I have dragged all of our friends and family here and so far everyone has become a fan. It has definitely become our comfort food. The staff is accommodating, the food is cooked pretty fast and their appetizers are great to fill in that time. Their gyoza is SO good, I had actually never tried it before coming here and out of all of the places I went to after, theirs is still my favorite. They’re really nice people and they make it a fun experience. I highly recommend this establishment! (I’m actually craving this and I’m hoping I will make it to stop by today 😅)

And I update this as new Google features roll in to give a more in depth review about this business, and how much praise I give this business because it simply makes sense.

Food: 5/5. Wide variety of options, with some of the greatest food I've ever had and you will have to. Ranging from Sushis to soups, you will surely find a meal here that will be the best for you. A lot of the stuff containing meat products can be ordered with vegan products, which expands the options thus making my review higher. Never a flaw in the food, and the presentations make me want more!

Service: 5/5. Not sure where to get started on this, because they are simply stunning! It is nothing I've ever seen before. Everyone that works here welcomes you with a smile on their face, ready to come to your rescue when you need it. They are often fast to serve and respond to you, and with that can come with some nice laughs and a good review on here. Food comes in at a reasonable time, considering having to cook the stuff and working on presentation, it is surely worth the wait. Overall the best I've ever seen!

Atmosphere: 5/5. Feels like a very safe and friendly environment, and with the great people serving here adds to it. It feels like a place where you can leave those worries at the door and feel very relaxed. Features decoration involving Asian cultures which is pretty new I've seen. They are a little light on decor, but that's why I like it a lot. They don't overwhelm you at the door with all this, but instead they keep it smaller...
