I've really been on the hunt for some really good bubble tea spots in the area, and Bubble University might be up there for the top spot.
I guess I'll start with the fantastic drinks! I got the grapefruit slush with boba which is a seasonal flavor. I was amazed on how good and how much the drink tasted like grapefruit! It was really bittersweet and tart at the same time, and tasted super fresh like it was made from real and high quality infredients! The boba was really tasty, but also very soft and tender. I do prefer my boba chewy, but soft boba was actually quite good!
Next, what I thought was really cool was actually the ordering of the drinks. There are only three people allowed inside to order at once because of COVID-19, but that's pretty understandable. What I thought was really cool though was the little kiosk that you order on! It had every single drink with pictures of each drink which was really helpful for me in deciding on what to get. The pictures really made every drink look super delicious! You could also click on any drink and it would give a short little description of what is in it. It was actually pretty hard for me to choose a drink because everything looked so good, but when you do choose your drink you are brought up to a huge selection of toppings! Of course I just got boba.
Overall, I really loved this place and next time I want to try another one of their delicious looking drink, and hopefully be satisfied again as I was with my...
Read moreJanuary 2025. It's very sad nowadays, there's so many boba tea cafe nowadays, but they all run the same playbook! Step one, have a computer serve your order. Step 2, charge extra for anything additional you can think of. Step 3, minimize staff.
This place is terrible, there was only 1 person working on a Sunday, someone said hi welcome in but they were behind a wall, so I was confused. If you are going to welcome me, like at least make sure I can see you.
No one took my order, I ordered off a computer screen. It was SUPER confusing, there was like 20 different options for boba, and I literally just wanted normal boba, and I guess the normal boba is "pearls." But it's not like I can ask that computer screen any questions.
Before I checked out, it had auto tip at 15%!! That is so ridiculous, first off the order was so confusing. You only have one person working, maybe if they took my order I would give them a tip. But PSA tips are a scam nowadays, they don't even go to the workers, the tips go to the owners too who aren't even working.
And yea the boba drink when I received it was not even sealed, you have to shake your boba drink that's boba 101, and part of the drink spilled so that was not great.
Terrible... I'm going to try to find a boba cafe that is not like the rest maybe one with a real human that will...
Read moreFirst time here, and loved it! We ordered online for pick up. It was easy and quick (highly recommend ordering ahead). The three drinks we ordered were: Strawberry Matcha, Thai Milk Tea, and Brown Sugar Organic Milk. The Agar/Crystal Boba was pricey, but the golden boba was very tasty and chewy! We did half sweet on the Thai tea and it was a strong black tea taste, I'd do 75%-100% next time. We spent $21 for the three drinks. I love the milk options of organic, non-dairy, and oat milk (very rare to see these offered elsewhere). I'm seeing other reviews that this boba place is a tad more expensive, I think they are reasonably priced bc they offer many other dairy substitutions (& organic!).
Overall all the drinks were great, service was friendly, and store was clean with a cute "magical" vibe (also cute cups). Definitely give a try, its worth another...
