Chopsticks Restaurant — Restaurant in Roseville

I have regularly eaten at Chopsticks in Roseville for at least 20 years. Birthdays, lunches with friends, family dinners, my wedding rehearsal dinner --- all here. They make amazing food all the time every time, and their portions and what you get for your money are awesome. They provide take-out as well (not delivery though) which we've also done frequently. Customer service is friendly and timely, and I have never had a bad experience in 20 years.

I've tried other places a little closer to my house, and either the food is subpar in comparison, or the customer service is subpar in comparison. I highly recommend Chopsticks, especially their family platters.

I'm still giving it 5 stars because I love their food so much but the only recommendation I have is that they need a website. I can't find one, and it's hard to find a full menu online, so I grabbed a paper one. In 2022, a restaurant should have a website, especially one this high quality, especially after the pandemic forced them to resort to only doing take out orders for a short time.

Otherwise, keep making amazing food and I will keep...

Been in Roseville over 20 years, never been to this place. Brother sick and wanted brothy soup so picked this place at random. Called and asked about soup, said they had what I needed, she gave me time they opened, all is great. When I showed up, no greeting, told woman we'd just spoke on phone (literally) minutes ago but she didn't seem to remember. I asked about sizes and prices which seemed to annoy her, placed my order. She said have a seat. Minutes later a couple came in. She greeted them warmly, eagerly took their orders, told them how long the wait would be, and went off to the kitchen. When my order came she told me the total and I paid. I asked for a receipt and she told me she couldn't give me one as she reached for the ringing phone. As she spoke on the phone she wrote out a receipt which I took and left. Needless to say, won't be going back - I'll make my own soup minus...

I really don't want to have to do this but it has been 3 days of symptoms akin to food poisoning. I ordered take out and it tasted fine, I mean, bland but okay. Mid I guess. Maybe about 45 minutes after my meal, I had started the shaking and the sweating. It progressively got worse and I've come to realize this is due to what I had eaten from here. I have never had this reaction to Chinese food in my life. I have, however gotten food poisoning from badly washed ingredients or meats that had not been cooked thoroughly. I'm not sure if maybe this was a one time slip up for them but I am sure that I got food poisoning and this is the last time I will ever be eating here. For my own health. The woman who took my order and checked me out was a sweetheart. They weren't rude to me or anything. I really do think this may just have been a bad day for them. I just thought I'd let...
