We drive to Roseville location even though we live right by another one. They just seem to have better quality and they cook their steaks perfect every time. USUALLY....
It WAS a Saturday night (Feb 19) so it was expected to take a little longer. That's fine. We had time. I was given wrong dish and wife's sirloin came out rare. Confusion induced conversation ensued tableside. We thought they would be right back after cooking her steak a few more minutes and bringing my correct plate. But they make everything over again. (Apparently my plate was given to a different table. No Big Deal...Accidents happen.) They made it all over again.
Food comes out about 20-25 minutes later. My food is great. Wife's sirloin looks like it was cut half to get temp correct (sirloin was like 3/4 inch thick about 4 inches square) Ordered medium and came out well done and chewy. Thank goodness for finishing butter.
Our waitress was phenomenal. Super friendly, attentive, and apologetic. (Even though she doesn't control the kitchen)
THIS is probably our biggest problem with the evening. Our waitress was saying she was gonna try and get a discount. We refused and said don't worry about it. We over heard another waitress say she tried but manager is not going for it. And after we had our food for a few minutes the manager approaches our table. We look up confused as we didn't ask for her.
Me: HI Mgr: what's wrong (hint of attitude) Me: Nothing Wife: you look very pretty Me: I love your glasses Mgr: Oh Thank You Me: No Problems. We didn't ask to talk to you Mgr: OH Wife: Ya we are good Mgr: (Turns & walks away as if WE wasted HER time.)
Disclosure: this is the 1st bad experience here in years. Just hoping someone sees this to point out to management that the service industry is a rough job and everyone has rough nights. But when a manager is bad enough that staff openly speaks about how bad their attitude is in front of guests that is a sign of a bad work environment and business culture.
We will no longer be visiting this location just because of...
Read moreOur server Niya was awesome polite and on top of her job all while having to train a new employee. Unfortunately The food tasted horrible. Me and my husband ordered the Smokehouse combo and the skillet queso. The corn tasted like biting into old cold mushy oatmeal. The ribs were dry and tough to cut into the sauce couldn’t even save those ribs. The queso was cold like someone left it sitting too long. After eating that food I felt nauseous and had to run to the restroom. I feel that best serve safe practices are not being used or taken seriously there. I spoke with the manager and she had so much confidence that the food was fresh which was BS! She clearly has not eaten the food there. There is no way that the food was fresh and made that day with integrity. The health department may need to get involved because they are definitely trying to get away with selling old food that’s not worth the money. I don’t play about my food and once I get sick one time I’m not coming back and risking my health! Eat there at your own risk! “Side note” the district manager was visiting! My husband and I were waiting for another patron to leave the parking space in front of the building which we had been waiting there for 5 mins for him to leave. And had been looking for a spot for a good 10 mins. The district manager pulled up and cut my husband off and took the parking spot that we were waiting for. My husband honked his horn and he ignored us. I thought that was very inconsiderate and unprofessional. The manager and the district manager could definitely use an in-service on customer service. The manger could have handled our issue with the food a lot better. They both ruined our...
Read moreSaturday May 17th, 2025 13:56-14:47 My brother, boyfriend, and I dined at this Chili's for lunch. We were seated pretty quickly towards the left against the window. I can't tell you my exact table number, but our server was Breonna. Funny, we learned her name at the end, on the receipt, as she never greeted us. After a bit of time, Breonna came to our table to take our drink order, as well as came back with chips we asked for (before our drinks). Once she finally came through to take our food order, she held a bit of a sour attitude. I get it, you might have a rough day, but this is your job. Someone named Mya, with a better attitude, brought our food and asked if we needed anything else. Boyfriend and brother finish their drinks and put them at the end of the table. Breonna walked by the row of tables, asking if anybody needed anything and completely ignored our table. This happened a total of 3 times over the course of the time we were there. The second and third time, I had to wave her down after she had walked away and ask for silverware (after we were already given our food by Mya) and to ask for drink refills. Both times Breonna commented "I keep forgetting about your table" and "I knew I was forgetting something!" but you didn't forget the other tables in your section? funny. My favorite part was the manager who had come over to check on our table and couldn't remember our server's name. It was his third day, so okay, but maybe try to know these things at the start of your shift. Otherwise, the food was decent. Shout out to whoever actually made the food. Also a shout out to Mya (I'm guessing she's a runner), she did a great job. Maybe have her...
