Dutch Bros Coffee — Restaurant in Roseville

I recently visited Dutch Bros and ordered a 911 (hot) and an iced peppermint mocha. Unfortunately, about two hours later, both of us experienced food poisoning, and after some thought, we traced it back to the drinks.

The coffee had a burnt taste and an odd smell, which suggests that either an ingredient was expired or the equipment wasn’t properly cleaned. As someone who works in the food industry, I know how critical it is to maintain these standards. Rushing to make drinks quickly is no excuse to overlook proper procedures or product quality.

This isn’t the first time I’ve had this issue at this particular location, but it’s the first time I felt the need to speak up. If training is the problem, it’s something that can be addressed. However, if shortcuts are being taken for the sake of profit, it might be time to reevaluate your business practices. Consistency and customer safety should always come first.

Came for my husbands birthday and we ordered a total of 4 drinks. We did get the birthday drink for free and we had another free drink on my app but the lady at the window scanned it like 4-5 times and said it wasn’t going through when I had 260 points and she said we didn’t have a free drink when the app gives you a free medium drink at 250 points I literally redeemed it and had the scanner and it went through because I no longer had 260 points so why didn’t I receive my free drink because obviously the points went away and I explained that and she didn’t even say anything like is it that hard to just give us our free drink that we had on the app? Also it took the lady like 10 minutes to figure it out and our drink still weren’t ready when we were THE ONLY PEOPLE IN LINE we should up and we’re first in line. This location really needs to get it together because that was truly an annoying experience put us in a bad mood. I even asked if they could make my husband drink like a birthday drink and make it cute with sprinkles and they said yes of course and nope it was just like a regular drink… super disappointed… never coming to this location again for some people that always come to dutch. No one was more excited for this Dutch to open than I, as this one is close to my work. Last night when I pulled in there was only one car (a black PT Cruiser) ahead of me, and they were already at the window. The employee at the window was talking and talking to them, and about 10mins later another employee who was extremely nice, came to my car and took my order, and punched my card.. about 2 mins later she brought out both of my drinks, but I still was stuck in the drive thru, as the PT Cruiser was still talking to the girl at the window. 3 mins later the PT Cruiser finally pulled away, but a drink never came through the window to her the whole time I was there. I waited over 15mins two people to have a conversation. Here is the kicker, about two weeks ago the same black PT Cruiser blocked the exiting road to Sunrise taking to a Dutch employee entering the other side. Do not waste your time here, go to the other Roseville Dutch, or the Rocklin Dutch, heck even making the trip to the two Madison Dutchs will save your time.
