This was the first time going to a Flame & Fire and I'll admit that it was the one of the best best dinners I've had in a decade! They offer for you to start the "salad bar" before the main course, which consists of several hot side dishes, sliced meats, like prosciutto and salmon, and specialty cheeses, kalamata olives, cold pastas, and a very small choice of actual salads and salad toppings. Settling in to this salad bar appetizer back at the table, your server brings out your drinks and small specialties of the evening, like cheesy bread bites and sugary roasted bananas to "cleanse the palate, between meat servings during the main course. It's at this point that they explain how the small cards on your table work. Face your card up to show the green side and the chefs know to come around and offer you meat from the skewers, turn the red side up to let them know not to. Simple. Then, chefs will come around throughout the evening with various meats on those giant skewers and slice samples for your plate. It's AMAZING! They time the intervals so that you have a chance to actually enjoy what they give you, before bringing out the next, but not so much that you start to feel how full you're getting. When you've decided to finish your meal, the server will instruct them to being out dessert. They bring out pineapple that's been broiled in sugar on those same giant skewers and slice a piece for you. I couldn't even finish the slice they gave me...But it was kick ass! Every single piece of food they brought out was so fantastic that it felt like sacrilege to not finish every last bite. The service was also spectacular, and the manager was wandering around to all the tables to make sure you're enjoying the service and food, or if there's anything they can improve for you. However, full disclaimer - it is not cheap. It was about $50 a person not including drinks, tax, or tip, but it was worth every freaking penny. The ambiance was like any upscale restaurant, with cloth napkins, button tufted chairs and wine waiting at your table, but not so stuffy that you couldn't go in wearing your regular street clothes. So, great food that doesn't stop until you say, top notch service, and comfortable atmosphere. You won't be disappointed.

This is a place where you can get plenty of meat options if that is what you are craving for. First time here celebrating husband's birthday. We all enjoy our beef but we are a medium rare to rare beef preferred. When the options came out many of them were cooked at least from well to well done, but still tender in some meats. However, until we asked if they had any rare options, the server started bringing that out. Unfortunately it was at the very end when we were already very full. So if you prefer your beef on the medium rare to rare side ask them in the beginning so that they can bring that option instead. No guarantees, but ask first so you know what your meats will come out as. The meats could use a little more flavor, so we had to put some sauce with it to enjoy it a bit more. For those reasons I couldn't give the food more than 3 stars. Waitress was very nice and the meat server was excellent, always bringing out what we asked for. He was very attentive to our requests. Salad bar was decent. This placed allowed you to enjoy only the salad bar. I wished I opted just for that instead as I would have enjoyed it more. Overall, I'm not sure if we would come back to this place as I have had better Brazillian at another establishment with more options in their salad bar and all the meats were not all over cooked. It is pricey, so we felt we did not enjoy what we ate based on the price.

Very nice place. Definitely make sure you're dressed decently when you go here. You will drop a pretty penny here. Average for one with two cocktails, desert, about $115.00 but worth it. Be ready to eat! They have a great salad bar, a selection of finger foods.Including several types of cheeses, prosciutto, smoked salmon, shrimp, cold cuts etc. They have a large number of different meats. From top sirloin to filet mignon wrapped in bacon, to lamb chops to BBQ chicken legs. They even have roasted pineapple coated in cinnamon. You have a pair of tongs, and they bring the meat to your table on a spigot and cut a piece and you grab it with the tongs while they finish cutting. You have a card that says yes and no. As long as you leave it on your table and it says yes they will keep coming with different meats. The only way to stop them is to flip the card to no. The atmosphere is nice, the staff are very nice and it's all you can eat. You will leave full. Plus they make a killer tasting mojito. They have a good selection of wine and cocktails. Average about 13.00 per cocktail. They even had flan for dessert. This is definitely a place to go to. If you're a steak and chicken kind of person you won't be disappointed. Go here!

Heard about this place through co-workers and friends. I've went here on a Friday night with my SO and another couple. The service was pretty bad, the people were not friendly, but the food was decent

In regards to the service. We didn't have a reservation but we only had to wait about 15 minutes before being seated. Shortly afterwards we were greeted by our waiter and he told us of the specials. He took our drink orders and later returned with them. It would be another hour before we saw him again. I had to ask three different servers to refill my water. It was a bit frustrating.

Another thing to note on the service was how they were serving the meats. They kept shoving our plates and cups aside to make room for their meats like they needed half the table to do so. The servers were cutting such large cuts of meats onto our plates like they wanted to get rid of them. And on two different occasions, they offered the last piece of meat to us and when we said no, they dropped it on our plates anyways and told us we should share it. There was one more instance where my SO asked for only 1 piece of chicken hearts but the server dropped 4 on her plate. She was quite mad, due to them not listening previously to our request for less food. The server got the hint but what he did next was just disgusting. He took the chicken hearts from her plate that touched food she had been eating and stuck it back on the skewer! We were both shocked.

One more instance of less then stellar service was the servers kept serving the meat across the table going over plates of other food and drinks. To clarify they took the giant skewer of meat went from one end to the other end hovering over all the dishes and drinks dripping meat juice in some instances. One of those occasions, the server brought the meat near the middle of the table and was slicing the meat and the meat slice was dangling right over a glass of our tea and the meat juices fell into the glass. We notified one of the servers and he brought us another glass.

We felt like we were being served by a bunch of college students working there as part time summer jobs. The training was minimal. The people just felt like they were there to do their jobs and do the bare minimum because they would out of there in a few months. Even when leaving, no one said "have a nice night". Not even the waiter who brought our bill back or bartender who just looked at us as we walked out.

The food was decent though. The salad bar had a larger selection then other steakhouses I've been to but it was still mostly cheese, cold meats, and salad with some hot dishes. One dish that stood out was their fish in some sort of creamy soup. I would recommend it.

The meats were good but not amazing. The bacon wrapped chicken was a bit dry, the glazed pineapple felt like it was barely glazed but the garlic steak and picanha were quite good. Though the last round of picanha felt like they goofed on the roasting. It was dry on the outside and super raw on the inside like they tried to cook it fast with high heat. This also might of been due to me requesting it 3 times over the span of 30 minutes. The reason I requested this was because it seemed all the good meats disappeared from the rotation by about 8:45pm (they close at 10pm). For reference we started eating at 7:45pm. The only thing that kept coming was bacon wrapped chicken, and bottom sirloin. I don't know if this was normal but quite disappointing.

For our dessert we ordered their flan. It was ok. It was a bit more thicker and firmer than most flan I've had as well as more plain than I would like.

Overall terrible service, unfriendly people, but decent food. This might of been an off night maybe but I don't plan to come back unless some special occasion brings us back. For anyone looking for a better and more authentic experience, I recommend Fogo De Minas in Sacramento. For Roseville locals, it's a bit of a drive but I believe...

Last night 1/29/22 I attended this restaurant with my family in celebration of my mother- in-laws birthday. As we were seated I was visually pleased with the initial elegance and decadence of the restaurant. As the night progressed, and our waiter Kyle made me feel extremely uncomfortable. During the duration of our meal we were only offered seven different cuts of meat, which If you read the website we pay for 12-15 different styles and cuts of meat. Kyle proceeded to inform my father-in-law AT THE END of our meal that there would be a 20%

gratuity added to our tables bill (as a whole). Now, the issues arose from the manner in which Kyle spoke to my father as he was being extremely condescending and making sly comments as if we did not have sufficient funds to cover a 20% tip, nor were intending to pay or tip him. This unfortunate situation led to my whole family feel humiliated and uncomfortable during our celebratory outing. I feel that asking a father in front of his wife and children if he can afford a 20% tip in addition to our almost $500 meal is absurd. (And of course we were the only African American family in the room)

My father then proceeded to show Kyle the multitude of hundreds being showcased in a money clip on his wallet. Kyle then in turn said, "woah. I can tell you're a baller" ... "it's all good". This type of professionalism or lack thereof is not to be tolerated at a rated 4.6 star restaurant. If we were seeking in adequate service with sleepy snide remarks we would've went to the Outback. At the time I believe even Outback would have been a better option. My mother-in- law happens to love the brown sugar sliced pineapple which was only served to us once at last call after having to ask on four different occasions and we watched a table next to us be served twice before

anyone served our table. Once the bill officially came the once before stated 20% tip was added to every bill at the table instead of as a whole. This caused me to be overcharged and each party at my table to be overcharged. At the conclusion of our meal we

proceeded to gather outside of the restaurant, when two waiters were I'm assuming upset, due to our frustrations with the service yelled across the parking lot "we're outside now". This was threatening to me and my family and was absolutely intolerable. I will be contacting them today when they open, online through their PR department, and on every media channel that supports and endorses this establishment. Not only was the service terrible but were were the only mixed interracial family in sight last night and the dishes were smudged

and unclean. The floors were polished which was visually nice but ultimately unrealistic as you try to walk with heels your feet are sliding and it promotes a very UNSAFE environment. I would recommend you decide on another restaurant to spend your hard earned money rather than overpay...

My Brazilian friends have been babbling about this restaurant. I was planning to try out this restaurant and one of my co-workers informed me about their groupon deal. I thought it was a perfect opportunity to try out this place. After purchasing the deal, I read the fine prints to make reservations. I tried calling the restaurant several times either they don’t like to pick up the phone or listen to the voicemails left by the customers. They never returned my phone calls. Advice --- return customers phone calls otherwise you’ll lose customers. Anyways, I ended up making reservation through opentable. Whoever invented that app was awesome and thank god for Flame and Fire to be listed there. Service ----- Our service at the restaurant was not up to my expectation. After sitting down, I informed our waiter, we’ve purchased the groupon deal and I could see he’s face changed. The waiter did not care to explain about the menu, specials or how the flame and fire meat cuts are served. I had to call other waiters to request for meat. Then I asked them if they have chicken or lamb. It took them good 30 minutes to bring out the carve out meat. After asking 3 people about lamb and chicken, finally one the server informed me that they were cooking meat. It was 6pm and this place supposes to have meat constantly going around the room. That’s the highlight of the restaurant. I had way better experience in Washington DC at Fogo de Chao. The chicken meat were super salty. The lamb was medium rare, I was unhappy seeing the blood. I absolutely loved their pineapples. I saw other tables getting banana but I never received it. I’m telling you the service sucked big time. I would not recommend this restaurant at all. And some of the tables were getting the cheese bread and we never received it. I was totally disappointed in the server. Salad Bar- The salad bar was great. I loved the beans but the rice was uncooked ( I felt like it was only half cooked). My 3 year old daughter said “I don’t like this rice”. And rice is usually her favorite item. If she tells me rice is not edible then definitely something wrong. Anyways, the fish was great and so were the scallop potatoes. Inside the restaurants there were so many flies flying around. My daughter was freaked out with the flies. And I saw flies sitting at the salad bar.  The flies did leave some luscious flavors on those salads. Drinks- I was in love with my brazilian drink caipirinha. For those that don’t know, it is Brazil's national cocktail. It’s made with liquor, sugar and.Lime Parking- They have private lot. Plenty of parking. There goes one...
