McDonald's — Restaurant in Roseville

I realize each McDonalds is franchise owned. But when they make a choice to just over charge you for simple things (especially if you are a senior on a fixed item) then I think it's wrong. I go to other McDonalds and order the same thing but this one (across from Costo off of hwy 65) really was the worse. Besides the food the restroom had no paper towels. I mean no receptacle for them even so no way to dry your hands. So about the food. I understand they charge extra for things that are not on your burger or other food items... like cheese or lettuce or tomatoes. Well here's what I order at other ones...a cheese burger without ketchup, mustard or onions. But I would like mayonnaise instead and add lettuce. Seems ok? Right? Well I was charged $.20 for lettuce ok. Then for a very small amount of mayonnaise (less than the ketchup or mustard) I was charged $.69. Yup! One penny from 70 cents. Amazing But I also asked for a hot chocolate. (Which at every other franchise I went to gave me a small one with whipped cream and a drizzle of chocolate absolutely awsome for $1.49) This place said to me... we just fixed our machine and let us know how it is. I said ok. Well I don't want to really say what it cost but almost $3.00 and it came in a very large cup which looked like water that was slightly brown and tasted like it. I asked for a refund because it was so bad. Yes I got a refund. I ate my little burger and before I left a young woman who worked there came and asked me how was everything. She was not a manager just a employee. I told her everything and said I couldn't believe how over charged I was. I even had the receipt from the good place to show her the difference in prices and how I'd never go to this place again and how I would post about this place and she asked if I would post about how she was nice and to give her a good review. I did not have any inter action really with this woman to say anything about her. I guess she want happy there either. So that's my long review and hope you don't have as bad of experience if you decide to stop at this place. I know I never will again. And if you're wondering...no the other McDonalds I went to and ordered the same thing did not charge me a penny for...

If I could give 0 stars I would. I placed a mobile order tonight at 8:55pm. My order was for a 20 piece chicken nuggets and a couple apple pies. I wait until 9:18 then called the store multiple times to get no answer. Finally I decided to go to the drive thru. I tell the lady that I've been waiting for my order now my app says I received it, when I in fact have not. She says sorry, rather unapologetically then tells me to pull forward. I finally get to the window at about 9:30, and the guy told me there were no apple pies or cookies and asked for a substitute. I only wanted the apple pie though, so I didn't know what to get and they couldn't give me a refund. I was so irritated and angry at this point I couldn't think and asked for a chocolate milkshakes a substitute...I don't even like chocolate milkshakes all that much and my stomach doesn't agree with milkshakes anyhow. But all they could offer me was ice cream products. He gave me 2 milkshakes and I finally left at 9:40. I had such a terrible experience and I wasn't even offered a genuine apology. Utterly ridiculous. Terrible customer service and they had no sense of agency. I've worked in a drive thru at Panera, understaffed and gotten customers in and out with them waiting at most 10 minutes. I should never have to had wait 45 minutes for a simple order at a freaking McDonald's...

What can I say, my grandkids love McDonald's. They love it for the playground and if coarse for the Happy Meals.

This particular McDonald's I usually fast, friendly, and clean. Although my granddaughter likes her hamburger made special and they've always messed it up. Everytime we've been here.

This time I thought I would try something new of the menu. I ordered the Signature Sriracha. "Made with an exclusive, creamy Sriracha Mac Sauce with just the right amount of spice that’s paired with crispy onions, fresh baby spinach & kale, a juicy tomato slice, and white cheddar cheese".

I'm pretty burned out on McDonald's, but the sandwich is actually very good and I would order it again. As long as the grandkids keep wanting...
