Dairy Queen (Treat) — Restaurant in Ross Township

Was craving some last minute ice cream before close. Well aware of the winter hours and being only seconds away, we rushed to the DQ on Perry Highway and arrived at 7:45 pm. Closing time was 8:00 pm. All lights were on except the one nearest the street and two employees inside. The two employees working could clearly see my husband and I standing at the window and we’re blatantly ignoring us and avoiding eye contact. Meanwhile another customer had just got back into their car with their order. We stood for about 5 minutes. Not a word from the employees that they were closed early or not accepting any more orders for the night. Just blatant disregard. Asked if they were closed with no reply. We would’ve understood as we were last minute but the silence and poor customer service was disappointing as we are regulars to this location. Hopeful for better experiences...

We ordered two large blizzards: the new Superman flavor and confetti. Both were terribly mixed and half-melted. For the first 3/4 of the cups, it was nothing but vanilla ice cream. The Superman is supposed to have cookie dough inside, but there were one or two small pieces at best. The confetti was nothing until the very bottom, where it was a mess of melted ice cream and sprinkles.

This happened on Saturday night (07/19). It was not busy at all; the workers were just hanging around and doing nothing, so there's no reason why this ice cream shouldn't have been perfect.

This was my first time at Dairy Queen, and considering how overpriced everything was, I was expecting much better. I can't say I will ever consider this establishment again unless something...

Already had rated this location 5 stars but coming back after another great experience. My mom called and asked for two cats on a birthday cake - the woman working let her know she would likely have trouble fitting two cats. My mom asked if they could please try and let me tell you - they did a PHENOMENAL job. Not only did they fit both cats, they just happen to look EXACTLY like my cats. They also did this without seeing a picture of them. We were over the moon, my mom said she almost got teary eyed LOL. Absolutely get your ice cream cake here!...
