Dairy Queen (Treat) — Restaurant in Ross Township

Absolutely TERRIBLE and UNPROFESSIONAL this is the WORST Dairy Queen in Merrillvile. Please do yourself a favor and visit the one on Main St in Crown Point or on 73rd & Taft where they go above and beyond for their customers and provide their customers with what they ask for instead of saying "WE DON"T DO THAT HERE" . I asked for a small vanilla ice cream in a blizzard cup and they told me no. I told them I get it all the time at other Dairy Queens since my disabled family member wants it that way since they believe they have a blizzard. I understand it is the same price as a blizzard and I always pay for it. For them to tell me that "WE DON"T DO THAT HERE" is very disappointing and they will never receive my business. Not really sure what the issue is with this location and their blizzards but it really is ridiculous. Never have an issue with the Taft street location but this one always seems to give out blizzards that are either half melted or never mixed or chocolate blizzards are somehow completely vanilla with 3 brownies lmao. Also the one girl with short blue hair ALWAYS has an attitude. There’s been multiple occasions where she’s slammed a window, snatched my card, shoved a blizzard at me. Tonight she was upset that I asked her to give me the correct blizzard and continued to argue with me about it. If I order a chocolate blizzard that’s what I want. I placed my order online at 8:53. Said it would be ready at 9:09. Sat in car waiting to finish. At 9:09 I sent my grandson in to pick up. Well at 9:21I walked in to see what was happening. The girls stood around looking dumb founded. Nothing was made. She started making then. By this time I was pissed. She tossed my ice cream on counter and turned her back on me. The ice cream was half melted also. The ice cream would have falled out if turned upside down like a blizzard supose to. Ugh I will never come back to DQ. If your employees don't like their job then maybe they should go elsewhere. I have been in customer service for 40 years and just retired. Your Employees are very rude.
