Grew up on Haroldâs, so I know the real taste. This ainât it. Chicken came out bland and offâmild sauce couldnât save it.
Big red flag: theyâre dropping piping-hot, greasy food straight into a polystyrene (Styrofoam) clamshell and closing the lid. That traps steam (soggy fries/chicken) and hot oil on foam isnât food-safeâpolystyrene isnât for hot, oily food and itâs not microwave-safe. Iâm not eating that.
Alsoâduring my visit there was not one single B.L.K. person on the line or at the register. Not one. For a brand born in our culture, that matters.

I would expect this for it's location and sometimes I find that to be a good sign that the food will be good. The thing that seriously disappointed me was that I ordered mac and cheese and it was literally Kraft mac and cheese from the box.
