I doubted the 5-star rating with so few reviews. The rating is fully legit.
THIS IS THE BEST MEXICAN FOOD IN ATLANTA I KNOW OF IN THE 12 YEARS I'VE LIVED HERE!
THE FOOD: The food was not the typical generic 4-ingredient Mexican food you get at any other of the typical restaurants. I had a barbacoa quesadilla that was made with a fresh homemade corn tortilla that you won't recognize unless you've had a real one in Mexico. It was not tough and dry like normal. It was light and crispy, with almost a creamy flavor. It truly changed my understanding of what a quesadilla can aspire to be.
The salsas are homemade, and have the unique flavor I got in Tulum and mexico City.
The margheritas are freshly made with no bottled mixer. Delicious.
The prices are pre-inflation from 2 years ago. We ate gourmet Mexican food here at less cost than eating chicken wings at Wing Factory. Really.
THE SERVICE: Friendly and attentive. What more can you ask?
THE FACILITY: It looks like a cheap strip-mall restaurant from the outside. Then you step into a huge marble-floored and marble-walled elegant restaurant that should be a lobby at the St. Regis. You have to see it to believe it. When you realize how awkward and confused you look standing there trying to take in what you've walked into, just remember I told you so! ;-)

Read moreThis is an amazing hidden gem! Me and a friend went here on a whim and were blown away by the service, food and drinks! The server was super sweet and she actually made our margarita pitcher. Hands down the best Margaritas we have had! Food was extremely fresh and very good.
The atmosphere was an intimate vibe but very comfy setting, and the music was perfect for the vibe. The outside does not look like a typical Mexican resturant, and the inside is beautiful! You can see the kitchen where they cook the food which i loved, and the bar and tables are far enough apart to not feel cramped or packed in.
To top all that off, we ran into the owner and he is an amazingly humble person, he spoke to us and shook our hand- all of this is top tier service compared to most places in Atlanta. Im writing this a day later because im still thinking about the food and that margarita pitcher!! And yes we have made plans to...
Read moreMy wife and I were in the mood for really good Mexican food. After searching the online reviews for the area restaurants we decided on Fiesta Bar Y Parrilla due to the outstanding score and reviews. As you are walking up to the restaurant, you would not expect the wonderful environment you will find inside. The outside is unassuming while the inside is aesthetically pleasing and incredibly clean. The outside doesn't do justice to the amazing atmosphere inside. As nice as the interior looks, the customer service was more impressive. The wait staff is engaging and helpful with the menu options. And the menu options are impressive. The food was flavorful and well presented. The food was fresh and crafted with care. It is obvious the staff takes pride in the food taste and presentation. This is an authentic Mexican restaurant and we...
