NFCC Thrift Shop — Local services in Roswell

I wouldnt even give a star!And I am not talking about the thrift shop. Iam talking about the Office where you go to get assistance. they claim to be here to help but really they are not.! I contacted them to sign up for the Holiday Gift for my daughter, and according to them I am not elegible because I have not used they services for this year, well maybe because I was not informed of they services being available again.(they did not sent me no email!AGAIN! Since Covid and the shut down of everything I was not sure when they re-opened and so I was wondering why I have not received any emails from the NFCC, so I called and they saying they have been sending email every monday but yet i dont have any email. Just excuses. The manager didnt even try to help at all, she quickly shut people down talk on top of people.Not even try to listen, she speak as if she is on a race, literally disregarding what the clients say or trying to explain.!Very rude and unprofessional! and she is even rude than the...

I’ve found some great things at this store.. however in the last month or two the prices have become outrageous. I used to think goodwill was getting out of hand but the prices here have surpassed them. Old furniture for $30-$200 And more. It’s really just depressing. Saw a wobbly scratched up coffee table today for $70. An old chair for $50. 2 small decor pillows for $10 each? I can get new ones at Ross or tj maxx for that much. I’m just extremely dissapointed. I understand some people resell and maybe they’re trying to deter them but.. what about the rest of us..It’s just not what it used to be anymore. Unfortunately, the prices are just too high in this store. $80 perfume behind the counter, $100 purses with stains on them, anything with a new tag or nice label on it is way overpriced. Clothing is higher than goodwill, The cashiers have even raised the price above what’s on the sticker when customers get to the register. If they wanted to move merchandise and raise more funds, they would make their inventory more affordable for the people that actually shop in there. The rich people who volunteer here are often clueless and rude, falling all over each other in the store when we are trying to shop. If they had more sales, better prices, nicer staff, we would love to support them. They do get really cute stuff, but the pricing...
