The customer service is terrible. I went through the drive thru on Saturday, May 23 and encountered the worst customer service. The lady Alexandra at the drive thru had my order incorrect. One of the meals I ordered should have been chicken strips instead of chicken. She said to me, "No, you told me chicken." That is when my son lost it. It upset him that she had the audacity to tell me what I told her. Instead of her offering an apology and just saying I'll fix it, she kept telling me that the order amount was the same and said it is no big deal. I told her that the amount was not the issue. I explained that we wanted to make sure each meal was accurate. My son ended up going in and was not pleasant. The manager was from the North Chicago Popeye's and she offered no apology either. Alexandra continued to be rude by making snide remarks to another worker. Once they finally gave us our meal, she had the nerve to tell me I needed to move. Now mind you but my son wasn't even in the car yet. I told her I was not moving yet. She made a big deal about it even after she saw he was walking back to the vehicle. Then the manager comes to the window and says you need to move. They were unprofessional and had no customer service etiquette AT ALL. The manager told my son when he went in that they could just give his money back. Her proper response should have been, "Sir please calm down. I apologize for Alexandra's unprofessionalism. I am going to make sure you order is correct." Instead they had the nerves to get defensive with us when Alexandra was the idiot who couldn't speak English properly or even understand it properly. It is very frustrating because customer service has went down since when I was growing up. The workers at these establishments make you at fault instead of taking ownership for their errors. I am not prejudice at all, but I do not appreciate someone telling me what I said when they cannot even understand or speak...
Read moreThe food is as good as always, which is why I go there occasionally. But today I went there, drive-through, around 6:15 pm, Sunday August 23, 2015. I ordered the number 3 meal, which is a four piece dinner with a side and a drink. I asked for all breasts, knowing I would pay extra. I asked for mashed potatoes as a side. Then I asked for an ear of corn, again knowing it would be extra. The woman on the speaker asked me what I wanted to drink, but I wanted to make sure she heard the request for an ear of corn, so I said it again. She said "yes yes, but what do you want to drink?" I said Dr. Pepper. At this point I heard laughter on the speaker and didn't get a response for several seconds. Then she gave me the price and told me to go to the window.
I have been getting some dental work done and had a tooth pulled recently. I need it to heal before I can get an implant, so I have an appliance to wear in the meantime. It is uncomfortable, so I take it out when I am alone, such as this time. But the missing tooth gives me a lisp and I guess the crew thought this was funny. I did put it in before I got to the window.
When I got home, there was no corn. I was only given a receipt for the charge to my card, not itemized, so I don't know if I was charged for the corn or not. I guess they were too busy laughing at me to fill my order correctly. I considered going in to make a complaint with the manager, but it isn't important enough to me. I would never be able to go back there if I did complain because I would always fear they would remember me and spit on my food or something.
So good-bye Popeye's on Rollins. I...
Read moreI can't believe that I'm writing this because this #popeyes that I visited a few weeks ago called the cops on me after I purchased 2 8 pieces of chicken on the app and showed up and no chicken was there and the was told to move along after Catherine the manager verified that my receipt was for their store and was correct. She said it's not in our system, "what do you want me to do? Move along!" I said, "no not without my money or my chicken, because you are being rude." She closed tje drive through window, but not before saying, "oh yeah, I'll make you move!" Other things were said obviously, but the gist of it was I was told to move along multiple times. My daughter and my friend on the phone could not believe this was happening. I closed my window to preserve my AC. Shortly after, I saw two police officers coming one behind amd one infront with puzzled looks on their faces. They eventually told me that the manager told them that I was being belligerent, uncooperative and loud. They were in shock as that is not what they saw when they came and had to ask if they were sure this was the car. #Popeyes weaponized the police on me for something that they messed up and was rude with. I've been waiting for weeks for them to address it and the customer service is telling me to go back to the store and speak to tje manager. Are you kidding me? I'm not even sure why I'm writing this but this is the most embarrassing thing to happen. They erased the receipt from their system. Though I have it printed. They told the officer that they told me to cancel from the app which is impossible. Just the...
