Mobile ordered and went through the drive-thru to pick it up. First off I got to the drive-thru speaker before another car came to the second drive-thru speaker and no one acknowledged me but I could hear them taking the other drive-thru order. Then a second car pulls to the second drive-thru gets their order taken and pulls ahead of me! I shouted HELLO and after about 10 seconds someone said: "Just a moment please". That was the first red flag. I get to the window, get my order, and drive off. That's the second red flag because he didn't confirm my order, just gave me a bag with a sandwich and hashbrown. When I reached into the bag I noticed the sandwich felt much harder than normal, the wrapping was white instead of yellow and that's when I realized they didn't give me the right food. That was the third red flag. Normally I'd just say skip it and not complain, oh but not today. I WANT WHAT I PAID FOR! So in all the rush hour traffic, making myself late for work, I go back, park my car, and walk in to complain that I got the wrong food! I gave the man my receipt and the bag of food, he then went and got another bag of food and said please check to make sure it's correct. I DON'T WORK HERE, THAT ISN'T MY JOB SIR! But nonetheless, I look in and see the hashbrown and yellow wrapper that I normally see for this order and I'm content. I say thank you and I leave to rush off to work! Open the bag as I was driving and noticed that they gave me a cold regular egg McMuffin sandwich with Canadian bacon instead of sausage and a cold hard hashbrown. THAT WAS RED FLAG NUMBER 4! I gave you the receipt that shows what I ordered and yet you still managed to give me THE WRONG ORDER?! HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE?! ARE THEY THAT INCOMPETENT AT MCDONALD'S?! AND IF SO, I'M 1000% ON BOARD WITH FULL-ON AI OR AUTOMATION TAKING OVER AT FAST-FOOD RESTAURANTS! BECAUSE THE PISS POOR, I DON'T CARE ATTITUDES IN CUSTOMER SERVICES IS NOW AT AN ULTIMATE LEVEL OF RIDICULOUSNESS THAT IT'S NOT EVEN FUNNY! IF Y'ALL DON'T CARE HOW CUSTOMERS ARE TREATED AND WE'RE THE ONES KEEPING YOUR DOORS OPEN, THEN YOU SHOULD JUST CLOSE THE DOORS PERMANENTLY! I know this should not have affected me in this way, but unfortunately, this set the tone for the rest of my Friday and someone at their corporate offices needs to know about the lack of attention to detail at this...
Read moreDear McDonald's,
I visited your Round Rock, TX location in mid-November, around the 10th, and had an unsatisfactory experience. I ordered a meal with a 10-piece chicken nugget add-on and, when placing the order, I informed the staff about my onion allergy. They acknowledged it and assured me there would be no onions in my meal. However, when I received my food, it was clear that the onions had only been scraped off a previous burger. There were still small bits of onion left on it. As a result, I was left with cold chicken nuggets, fries, and a Coke, which I found very disappointing, especially since my allergy concern wasn’t taken seriously. This disregard for allergy protocols could lead to severe reactions or even death in extreme cases.
I called the location afterward and spoke with an employee named Lakita, who apologized and invited me to return for a corrected meal. Unfortunately, I couldn’t make it back at that time, but I was assured that I could come in another day to get the correct order. I was told to ask for Lakita or any manager for assistance.
On 12/2/2024, I returned and requested Lakita to redeem my meal. The employee informed me that Lakita no longer worked at the location. I was then frustrated because I had to explain my situation again to the manager on duty, named Rosario, who was not sympathetic and asked to see a receipt, even though I hadn’t been given one at the time of my original transaction. It felt as though she was accusing me of trying to steal, which was highly inappropriate. I asked for the General Manager, and after a few minutes, Rosario returned and said the GM was not present. When I asked for her name, she told me it was Yesenia. I also asked for a business card or email to address my complaint, but she said that employees don’t have that information.
Additionally, I noticed that Rosario was eating in the dining room and didn’t wash her hands before touching the register, which is extremely unsanitary, especially considering that same register is used for both taking orders and handling food.
Overall, I am deeply disappointed in how I was treated, and unfortunately, McDonald’s has lost me as a customer for good. This kind of treatment is...
Read moreAs we venture into the urban jungle, we stumble upon a peculiar habitat known as McDonald's, a place where golden arches beckon the hungry and weary alike. But alas, what we encounter within these walls is a far cry from the welcoming sanctuary one might expect.Behold, the manager, a figure of authority whose demeanor is as frosty as the ice in their milkshakes. With a scowl etched upon their face, they rule over their domain with an iron fist, showing no mercy to those who dare question their reign. But it is not only the manager who casts a shadow over this establishment. No, we must also bear witness to the employees, a motley crew whose attitudes range from indifferent to outright hostile. Incompetence reigns supreme as orders are botched and tempers flare, leaving patrons to wonder if they have stumbled into a parallel universe where customer service is but a distant dream. And what of the food, you may ask? Ah, dear viewer, prepare to be underwhelmed. For even by McDonald's standards, the prices here are exorbitant, leaving wallets lighter and stomachs emptier than a deserted wasteland. But perhaps the most egregious offense of all is the blatant disregard for basic human decency. A sign, proudly displayed for all to see, decrees a 30-minute limit on dining, as if patrons were nothing more than cattle to be herded and corralled at the whim of their overlords. And to add insult to injury, the mere thought of quenching one's thirst with a humble cup of water is swiftly dashed, as such luxuries are forbidden within these hallowed halls.Yet amidst the chaos and despair, a glimmer of hope emerges. A rare breed of employee, few and far between, who offer a kind word or a sympathetic smile amidst the sea of hostility. They are beacons of light in an otherwise bleak landscape, proof that even in the darkest of times, humanity prevails. And so, dear viewer, as we bid farewell to this den of iniquity, let us not forget the lessons learned within its walls. For in the harsh wilderness of fast food, it is not only the survival of the fittest, but the kindness of the few, that sustains us in our...
