Two days ago, I decided to go to Panda Express for the first time with my mom. I was going to treat her to some lunch that day. I already came here knowing it wasn't going to be authentic, and I was okay with that. You can't expect American food to be like food back in China. Anyways, my experience was less than I expected to say the least. We did not go in, and we used the drive-thru. First, was they did not have matcha milk tea; that's fine, I understand, no problem. Still a five star so far. We ended up with a small teriyaki chicken, a large order of fried rice and a medium Beijing beef. And a small iced tea for me. When we passed through the drive-thru, I paid all in cash, since I didn't wanna use my card that day, but when the cashier gave me my change, they dropped some of it! Now, it was just a few cents and I don't wanna be like a Karen, but that lost a star on its own, they did not even apologies for it, just said an "oops" and that was it. I was a bit agitated with the fact that they did not offer to give me more change or anything like that. Even an apology would be better than nothing. And that was it for my customer experience. Now for the food. The food was a bit smaller in portion than I expected, but it was okay because the cost was not too bad. But when we arrived home, and looked at the teriyaki chicken, it looked weird. There was no teriyaki sauce, and the texture and taste was slimy and fatty. It was very low quality meat. My mother was very disappointed and I was too because I wanted the best for my mom, so another star lost there. As for the fried rice, there was not much flavour, it was filling, but the taste was less than satisfying. Also, some of the rice was burnt and dry too. It wasn't sticky, but American rice in general is not sticky (which by the way is why Americans have a hard time eating rice with chopsticks). The vegetables seemed fake. The beef was probably the only good thing out of this. It was flavorful, spicy and I liked it. A little tough, but that was probably due to the method of cooking. I put some chili sauce on it. So a star can still be kept here. Finally the tea, at first, it was flavourful, but then halfway through, it was just cold water and I was disappointed with it. So loses a half a star. FINAL SUMMARY: I think that this place would not be a place I would want to go to again. If you want fast Chinese food, Pei Wei would be a better option. If I was in a hurry, I might order the Beijing beef again, maybe with white rice, but this is not somewhere I would wanna go again (ik, repetitive). It would also be nice if they could give out chopsticks too. I know that this is more American than Chinese, but at least if you go here you should have some chopsticks, after all the founder of Panda Express, Mr. Cherng is Chinese. My final review of this place is a 1.5 star, but I guess I'll round it up to a two because I took the leftovers to work with me later that evening and it didn't taste different after reheating in the microwave (pictured below). Thanks for...

After a long, exhausting day of moving, we decided to treat ourselves to some takeout and chose Panda Express. We placed a simple order: one plate and one bowl of orange chicken with rice. While the food was ready quickly, that was the end of the good experience.
When I got home, I realized they had given us the “Hot”/very spicy version of orange chicken, which was completely inedible especially for my children. This was not what we ordered.
I drove all the way back to the store to have it corrected, and instead of being helped, I was met with attitude and condescension from an employee named Sabrina. She insisted that the dish was normal and argued about pepper flakes instead of just resolving the issue. I told her she could taste it herself because why was I being treated like I was lying?
She left to speak to the manager, and I was ignored, not even telling me how they would fix the issue for 5–10 minutes. Eventually, I was told a refund would be processed, but I wasn’t given any confirmation or receipt I had to ask for it myself and all they did was write “refund” in elementary school handwriting. Not once did I receive an apology just attitude from start to finish from Sabrina. The manager in a black shirt did not take care of the situation. This was unacceptable and unprofessional. Sabrina and the manager need MORE training, better customer service skills, and better attitudes.
If you come here, doublecheck and taste your food before leaving, because they clearly don’t care about getting your order right and they care even LESS about fixing it.
UPDATE:
I later visited a different Panda Express location in Stone Hill and their orange chicken was exactly how it should be, flavorful, mild, and NOT spicy at all. This just confirmed that what I received at the Palm Valley location was NOT the standard orange chicken. BEWARE IT IS SO SPICY, DOUBLE CHECK YOUR ORANGE CHICKEN ESPECIALLY IF GIVING TO KIDS at the palm valley location. It’s even more disappointing knowing that I was lied to by Sabrina and ridiculed. Absolutely a...
Read morePoor service and worst place ever to be at. At went there at 9pm today (Monday-they close at 10pm), requested a plate with rice and double Kung Pao - lady behind the counter checked the entree bowl and it had left over (very small portion), I requested to wait and make some more as the portion isn't enough for my plate, she said we are close and won't make any more food. When I asked what time you close, she said 10p and I asked why do you claim it's close for more food at 9pm. She didn't have a satisfactory answer and said kitchen is cleaning. I asked her for her name - she claimed it's Panda Express policy not to give out name. When I asked for a manager, she claimed she is the manager. Question - how can you have a manager who is turning customers down for service and making her own policies of denying customers to give information when asked? Picture attached of the lady in black who claimed to be manager and displayed worst customer service in food industry. I need email address for corporate HR department to send a complaint for...
