Papa Murphy's | Take 'N' Bake Pizza — Restaurant in Round Rock

Tonight, I stopped at papa murphys pizza at about 8:35 (mind you, they close at 9:00) - when I approached the door, everyone scurried to the back suddenly and hid. Knocking did nothing either, but my wife got someone there to answer the phone, to which they offered a cop-out and said they don't take phone orders so late. When she told them I was outside, they scrambled to come up with an excuse for closing so early and said they were short staffed, yet I saw AT LEAST 3 people inside there. The manager who used to run this store about a year ago was awesome, friendly, and kept his employees in check. Between getting 'bad chicken' that's dried out and rubbery (which they were aware of when I they sold me the pizza) and rest of these personnel issues, I'd sooner drive farther to visit a different papa murphys and visit here again. Update - wife convinced me to go there once more, got a horribly nasty family size and medium pepperoni pizza for 29$?!? Didn't realize until later they over charged me a good deal and the chicken was...

This place NEVER lets us down. Except today. We ordered a family size Cowboy and asked for a portion of it to be no olives. No problem. But it had no sausage or pepperoni on it!!!!! We also ordered a garlic and cheese pizza with veggies and chicken and it had NO CHICKEN. So basically, we baked 2 MEATLESS pizzas for the family and realized this huge mistake after we cut into it. DISGRACEFUL. I mean, REALLY. I hardly ever complain, EVER. But THIS? This is just UNBELIEVABLE. I men, the pizzas were still good of course, but the fact that we didn't get any meat on both of them is irritating to the extreme. Know your job. Seriously. You are getting paid to personalize people's pizza and I get that we are all human and we all make mistakes. But this is just far too much.We BETTER get at least one pizza compensated next time. My wife and I walked in at 4:45pm to get a pizza 2 cookie doughs and cheese bread. Young lady acknowledged us then went into the back. In the mean time we waited over 5 minutes for someone to take our order. There were multiple people in the back because you could easily hear them. The dude making the pizzas did not say anything to us or even get anyone from the back. Sorry but I'm in the service industry myself and any of my employees or I help them asap otherwise I know I lost a potential valued customer, that's what happened. Never will I go there again. Your customers pay everyone there. Including the owner(s). Teach your employees better so you don't lose...
