Boon & Co. a new restaurant/cafe, gourmet grocer and merchant located in the large, white building on South Washington Street (Route 237) between West Austin St. and West Wantke St. is the latest edition to Round Top, Texas's restaurant scene. Inside Boon and Co. reminds me of The Low Country Market in Beaufort, South Carolina, a fine restaurant/cafe in and surrounded by a gourmet grocery and market. Atmosphere, service and food are all good. There is a full bar, a very good wine list. Prices are inline with the overall quality. The restrooms are nice, clean and handicapped accessible.
Boon & Co. is brand new, they had a soft opening during the Round Top fall antique show and won't be complete and fully open until January.
