I have been coming to Round Top for years and love the hospitality that it had before now. A group of my girlfriends were celebrating a 40th bday party and had drinks here. We were outside on the patio, civilly enjoying ourselves, and when my friend when in to get a round she was treated so poorly by the bartender she came out in tears. We all went in to see what the issue was and were all treated so disrespectfully and asked to leave. They continued to harass us as we were walking out, threatening us that they were going to csll the cops as we “got in our cars” (We calmly told them we walked because we were staying at The Frenchie nearby). This was so strange. But when I realized who the owner was, Lee Ellis, I knew this place was bad news. He was booted out of the Houston restaurant industry for his poor and illegal management and treatment of people. HE WONT SURVIVE HERE LONG.
BEWARE of this place....

Management should consider relocating this place to a bar district in Austin or adjusting the rules to...

On this visit we just had beer but next time will definitely try their Espresso Martini! Looks and smells good! Really happy with...
