Prost On Block 29 — Restaurant in Round Top

The seating area is lovely outside. Inside is small. Wine selection is fine. Here is my problem and I think this is what makes or break a business and reputation. The two ladies who were running Prost present themselves as smug and rude. They were not in the least warm, friendly or caring about their guests. Our experience was cold and silent. I even called to check if they were open because google shows they are closed for dine-in. The phone call would have stopped me in the tracks but i decided to be generous and take a risk with this business. I recommend avoiding this place. There are plenty of beautiful wineries with amazing customer service near Round Top that one should explore before...

This was truly an unexpected delight!!! We are here as vendors for Round Top Market. It's raining and cold out. This adorable outdoor, tented area looked appealing and the aroma of fresh pizza in the air was very alluring. On entering we appreciated the simplicity of this cozy setup. Extremely friendly staff. We ordered our lamb pizza and crispy rice. Turning around we realized all tables were taken. Three very sweet and engaging ladies kindly invited us to join their table. Our evening consisted of excellent, unexpected company. Delicious wine and truly the most delicious lamb pizza ever!! This is a true must visit when here in Round Top. We plan to revisit again...

Very quaint little place my friend and I were excited to try while we were visiting for the weekend. Unfortunately, we were not given the “warmest” welcome. The two ladies at the front were not very helpful to my questions for flavor notes and were very judgmental and rude. I even noticed one of the ladies give the other an eyebrow lift of annoyance to the other while she was pouring me a sample right in front of me. I don’t claim to be a wine expert, but I was asking for help in a polite manner and I was treating with such ill regard. Would not recommend this place as these two...
