I came here from IHOP that was down the street and had a 30 min wait on a late Saturday morning. Luckily there was no waiting here so that was a really good thing.
Got seated right away but noticed a few things while waiting to get seated. Manager was on his phone, behind the counter, while the restaurant had dirty tables and we were waiting to be seated. Didn't seem like any sense of urgency from the manager. Most of the workers seemed to be working.
Lots of staff had visible tattoos. Those tattoos should be covered.
Muiltiple dirty tables, see photos. I noticed lots of dirty tables. Very unacceptable for appearance.
The service by the waitress was also slow. She didn't come to our table right away to take our drink orders. I'm not sure if she knew we were seated.
Food was prepared rapidly and was good. Coffee was good.
Floor was dirty.
Recommend that they keep the place clean at all times. Customers and greets become priority as well as service. They need to improve on those.
Spent over $40 for two adults and a kid. Getting harder to go out and pay for service like this.
Update: August 2023 Went a few times since that bad visit. This time it was a weekday and the experience was different. Place looked clean. The service was good and the food was what you'd expect from Denny's. It's back to what I expect from Denny's and I hope they keep the place clean and the service fast. If they keep it up I might be a regular.
Update Christmas Day 2024; Came for Christmas dinner since everywhere else was closed and these poor people were working Christmas Day. The local Asian seafood buffet was too expensive and had a long line. So we ended up here. The service was great, no lines and got seated right away. Our order was taken rapidly. The food was good. Happy to have dined here. They've made a change from my once 2 starts and are now on the verge of perfection. Added touches to presentation and quantity of the food and they'll be...
Read moreBald Hispanic guy needs a lesson in customer service. He was very discriminatory and his vibe gave off that he didn't want to serve us. Restaurant damn near empty but had us waiting close to 30 min for a table. It wasn't until the younger waiter clocked in that we finally got seated. Wouldn't come back to this location if I could help it. Worst experience with a Denny's that I've ever had. My thing is it's so simple to seat guest and at LEAST get them drinks and let them look at the menu until their assigned waiter is available. He was picking and choosing who to serve. Mind you, we waited patiently, didn't say a word, didn't cause any disruption or commotion. The waiter who actually served us, he was great. We tipped him really well. Definitely over-tipped as a matter of fact. But the rest of the experience sucked and we won't be back. Bald guy needs to be careful before he and this establishment find themselves in a discrimination lawsuit. There was quite literally no reason he couldn't have seated us as soon as we entered; a tabld was literally being bussed and wiped down as we approached the host area to be seated. Didn't really care for that. Also, they didn't toast the bread all the way. It was ever so lightly toasted to where it still just looked like white bread soaked in butter. After we ordered, it also took an unusually long time for us to receive our food. We'd ordered an appetizer that was so late that we didn't get it until our entrees were already being served. The whole point of an APPETIZER is you are supposed to get it while you WAIT for your entree. Timing matters. As stated previously, def won't be patronizing this location again. The ONE nice waiter was not enough for us to want...
Read moreUsually the service here is pretty good but tonight it was poor. Had to wait a while for anyone to even notice we walked in, and then our server was quite rude. She didn't smile or even make eye contact with us, and she looked very unhappy. We are all human and I understand there are circumstances where we cannot smile, but unfortunately, as someone who's worked in customer service before, I have higher expectations of staff and I believe they should put the customer first, no matter how you are personally feeling. During our meal, I asked for an extra napkin, and a different server brought some to me, but she threw them right in a puddle of melted butter on the table. I guess the service here just varies based on who is working, but it's kind of sad. These employees should really realize they are representing the restaurant and act more professionally. I was also surprised that the food was quite cold, and the hash browns I ordered were basically sitting in a puddle of grease, which was extremely unappetizing. I've been here several times and this was definitely the worst...
