Sherlock Study Decor: 2 I can name everything in the room thatâs how bare bones this place is. The second room you get to is literally 2 small tables. Thereâs no effort put into this place.
Puzzles: 1 When youâre solving for a word and the word doesnât exist, thatâs a problem. When youâre giving us a color puzzle and thereâs no colors to look at because âthe game before you must have spilled them all,â (which doesnât make sense because the person who reset the room would have noticed that and there would have been fluid to clean up) thatâs a huge problem. When puzzles jump logic, it kills the mood. Even more so when they have nothing to do with Sherlock.
Hint System: 2 Some puzzles have random codes on them. Thereâs a tablet that you enter codes into if you need help. If that doesnât work, you wait for the game master to type things out on the screen which eats up time.
Weâve played over 130 rooms. We love gen 1 rooms. Give us lock and keys all day and weâll have the best time ever. But unfortunately, when it lacks imagination, story, immersion and entertainment, we canât...

The walls were also thin so we were able to hear things that were said from the large group in the next room which took away from the immersion even more. I do love how they have an option to play the rooms in Mandarin though which is clever considering the location and demographic. The GM was also very nice. I think itâs cool they have a system where you can earn prizes based on the number of points you collect in the game. Unfortunately, I cannot highly recommend playing this room to enthusiasts but if you happen to be in the area and want to satisfy your escape room itch without driving any further, this is...
Read moreWent with my mom and sister. The puzzles were okay and the decorations were also just okay. If you've tried other higher end escape rooms this may be a let down. Some of the clues needed to be re-polished to be better understood. I think one of the pros of this is that it is bilingual for English and Mandarin. We did the manor and there is only one room and a hallway to go into and it wasn't super immersive. There is also an ipad that sort of acts like a game master, and we usually prefer having an actual person to talk to vs having codes to enter into an ipad. The service was nice and the bonus side quest...
