Con: Over priced, extremely unorganized, lady micromanages. Pro: great teachers, counselors exsists.
edit: now that i dont go there id like to complain more.
this review only pertains to college portfolio classes.
after going to other counselors i realize how unhelpful the counselors here are through no fault of their own. theres two counselors per all 20 kids there while i went. the micromanaging lady is very strict not giving us a single minute more in the classroom after we paid 20k for classes. wont let me sit inside classroom before my sign in time started even if i promise i wont get any help. theres no system of organization where all our work is scattered around. i had to go on a scavenger hunt for my work all over the school. i actually learned most things about college from other students from chatting in class but management alway try to make us stop talking. that might be helpful in a strict academic setting but not a creative relaxed art studio. they say the price includes materials but the materials are no where near highschool portfolio level, and you have to pay separately for a lot of stuff like canvas and portfolio folders. i ended up bring my own art supplies most of the time. the teachers are cool but from what i heard some of the ones i liked left. i loved the front desk ladies, always very patient and friendly to me. but is it really isnt worth all the other trouble? very chaotic experience, i didnt feel respected and spent a lot of my energy budding heads with management's rigid chinese style...
